How to address population imbalance in WvW

Or simply hide PPT because nobody cares and then add incentives for fighting when outmanned.
Just hide the cumulative scores and leave ppt as it it.
When people cant see that they are “losing” overall, participation should be more even, and morale less of a factor.
Yeah but then you’d still have the problem of having the same matchups week after week, which is also killing WvW for a lot of people.

The root issue is being severely outmanned on a map.
IF morale could be raised by not having the “losing” server’s plight rubbed in it’s face with the scoreline, participation from the smaller servers is likely to increase.
That increase in bodies could mean a world of difference in between being rolled over or having fairly even open field fights.
You can’t really balance a game around morale, besides even if the points are hidden people are going to know what’s up when they log in and see all 4 borderlands are 1 color. My idea is to create a handicapping system that works around the various population peaks of servers and allows lower populated servers to stay competitive with higher population servers. It would also give an incentive for large guilds to transfer to lower populated servers where the queues are short without sacrificing their competitiveness.

I just think Out Manned needs to be buffed for practical combat bonus’s to create incentive to balance server population. Take a que from Aion there Asmo incentive program is awesome, and really does work.
Any solution based in hiding information from players won’t accomplish much, players will simply create a 3rd party tool to get around it (ie: the millenium site).
