1 – A square sPvP map with nothing in it. Just empty ground of course.
2 – Team size increased from 10 to 50.

I know this is not the way how Anet wants to implement things but …HEY GUYS WAKE UP… this is at least something for players that you keep ignoring.

GvG player wins.
WvW player wins.
GvG and WvW player wins.
Anet wins.

And you can easily tweak this with patches until it becomes how you want it to be.

50 is a bit much. It was 12 in Guild Wars 1 and any team that doesn’t have 50 people will lose. Even if you had 50 getting everyone to login and play GVG would be tough. I would say 20 would be nice. I think the map with graveyard is very similar to old school GvG. The idea was that each guild had is own hall & lord to defend. I would be in favor of that again.
I think that Anet lost something when they went totally WVW and no longer had different types of structured PVP / GVG play. By different types of structured PVP I mean the Jade Quarry / Fort Aspenwood / Alliance Battles of GW1. What leveled the play in those structured environments was that each team had the same number of people to start, so there was no zerg ball wiping (for the most part). And, if it was out-matched it’s no big deal because queue up and wait for the next random match-up. WVW right now is extremely broken because the server match-up algorithm is poor and out-matched servers are getting stomped even more from the Borderlands bloodlust buff.

Give us different types of structured PVP environments please!!

50 was arbitrary and not a requirement. Just wanted the point out that the current max is not enough and should be increased for gvg.

2nd option

1. Place a portal into borderlands spawn that leads to empty square of grass.
2. Profit.

Jumping puzzles have for a long time been separate instances with separate population caps etc. just copy the code from there or something.
Requires 0 testing, 0 design, 0 QA, very little effort for actual coding.
Your playerbase would love you.
Anyone not interested/aware of gvg/duels/any random events you could do there would just look at thea area for a few seconds and leave.
If it happens to become really popular you can throw in few balconies for viewers or add some hills etc. Hell, copy those vistas from sanctum sprint which give you a fixed view from far away.

Anet, there is a reason why payed alphas work, it´s because people are ready to overlook just about anything if they enjoy whatever you put out enough.

And i´m telling you people would make a messiah out of the person who would put in an empty square of grass.
