Dear arenanet I have fought so hard to get my sunrise. It has taken me nearly 5 months. Now the only thing that delays me is that I never get the right colour, green, in wvwvw. So I can not take the 1 remaining vista and poi that I need. It is quite ridiculous that I can not get my legendary because of this. You need to find a solution that makes for an increased chance to rotate to a colour you havent had in like more than a month.
Or is this a way of robbing your customers for server transfer gem costs?

What PoI and Vista? I’m guessing Hills as it has both and can be difficult to take.

What server are you on?

The EB Keep of the winning side (i.e. the side with highest coverage) is even harder.

I thought he was talking about typing in all caps. First thing that came to mind for me. But yes, more detail is needed. I’m sure people will be willing to offer what advise they can once there’s enough information to go from.

I have the same thing :P also waiting on green so I can finish my legendary. My server just seems to rotate between blue and red, though lately.. It stays red.

I complained about the roatation between the colours, that my server gunnar’s hold seems to always be either red or blue. So if map completion need wvw, they need a better colour rotation.

Unfortunately for you, this issue has been hashed out on the forums too many times to count.

Forcing people to play the part of the game they do not enjoy doesnt’ work out well for anyone. You hate it, and those of us who only wvw hate it because you take up valuable space in our maps:)

Anet probably likes it because a fair amount of people most likely pay to transfer to get this completed.

Stay up late and run with your night coverage. Or politely ask a commander on that map to do a quick rush of that location. If you are not a total kitten about it most commanders are willing to help out, especially if its a tower or keep of importance.

It’s honestly not Anet’s fault for you not being able to to get the PoI. Get your guild to help you. If you are really jonesing for a legendary then make it happen yourself.

Looked like FSP has a strong night-shift. Maybe early in the morning (before Work/school) is the best time.
But this week is XMas-match. Things may be very different than usual.

I personally think Green keep is the easiest to take in a mad rush. The other ones have too many spots to turn the keep into a kill zone.

Crow and rest of Gunnar’s Hold community did a lot to help out here. We manged to get keep vista in epic battle but later we were denied in Aldon’s by FSP defenders battle after was great though, gate was on 1% was very close.
Fighting for keeps for map completion is much more enjoyable then for PPT i have to admit. Was very fun

a lot? If that were actually true you’d have all the wvw poi in less than a month.

Personally, I’m glad people are forced to play some WvW to get map completion. Some would otherwise never play it and never know if they’d enjoy it or not.

But let’s spin this around shall we? Why the heck do we need to get all those hearts for completion? That’s waaaaay to much mindless pve grinding for the likes of me. Nerf!

Just transfer over to HoD. I have 9 level 80 toons and each one of them have all the poi’s in WvWvW. You are just in need of a more friendly server!

Its definitely a problem, even in T1 where it might seem like its not. If you even go close to a keep with your zerg, the other server is there about the same time and will siege it up until you leave. This means most keeps are fully upgraded with plenty of siege throughout the whole week and the only way to come close to taking them is a golem rush with mostly Omegas.

When I no longer have to do 400+ exceptionally stupid heart quests in PvE to get my legendary I will care about your colour issue.

That’s atleast something that wont be hindered by stupid random colour rotation., which is what the post is all about.

I’ve seen guilds talking about taking breaks for the holidays and stuff. I personally never had this problem, just waited for a rotation where we crushed whatever and hoped we’d have clear maps on keeps and such.

I’m having the same problem, sos hasn’t been green for a very long time. I have 99% map comp and i try to do some wvw everyday but we have yet to take the green areas i need while I’m on, its very frustrating.
