Today I logged into WvWvW in Sorrow’s Furnance, and I checked it score which said this:

Sorrow’s Furnance: 105k

Henge of Denravi: 6K

Eredon Terrace: 3k

Basically, nobody’s playing WvWvW competitively anymore? So what’s the point then of capping stuffs?

The whole map was blue (sorrow’s furnance), so my bud went to complete the map and I went back looking for more FotM dungeons.

Lol. I don’t get this Anet. Where is the service that yall promised to do for this game? ie. get more people to play WvWvW? Or am is it true that a lot of people quite doing stuffs on GW2?

HoD and ET are notoriously bad. ET, especially, I think ranks #1 in the worst server category (biggest movers down) every week across all servers (both EU and NA). In fact, even HoD mopped the floor with ET when they were matched up a while ago.

Next match up may be more interesting for you. Due to Anet’s reluctance to intervene with their ranking system, it may be a while before HoD/ET find a decent match up (if ever).

I think these servers have lost their will to fight in WvW. Spawn camped everyweek, cannot yield same number with server they match up. Thus make their WvW a ghost town. To make it worse no huge mass transfer to these server but there are mass transfer from these servers to other servers.

idk y but anet needs to implement a better ranking system for server tiers like this, one team gets a massive tier boost rank pts, while the other 2 gets dominated, and will continue to get dominated for weeks til they lose enough points to knock out of the tier.

Well if we win this weeks match up Borlis pass will be moving up into that bracket. We have been facing GoM, AR for the last 5 weeks now? All 3 servers are sick of eachother so we are hoping we move up to get some new faces. We have been waiting for a rematch with sorrows furnace after you guys beat us down that 1 week

There are several exits to a spawn point, with so many objectives, you can’t guard them all so They have it easy to be able to ninja something, yet, they have to will. It is pathetic I must say, they should learn something from the last tiers.
Soon they will find themselves in the last tier only because they wanted it to be so, had they put in some effort, they could’ve gotten their own morale up enough to atleast stay in a higher tier.

Hate to say it to you but out of that match the only server that hasn’t had a mass amount of WvW guilds and people leave has been SF. ET/HoD lost 95% of their WvW’ers

The day that Kaineng beats HoD will be more symbolic than anything. I’m waiting for it.

actually, that would cause it to suffer the most. people are already transferring(even with with 7 day cooldown) to win when there’s no rewards for it other than to say that you won. if you add a reward into the equation, saturdays are just going to be mass exoduses to whatever server happens to be in the lead at the time.

Get the idea? All this game is about now is “Ascension” which takes way too long to even get. What ever happened to “this game is not a grind”. Do you honestly expect me to want to farm the same dungeon for 60+ hours to get an Ascension item? No, I’d rather WvW, but now I have to worry about “Ascension” and “Agony”. Gee thanks Anet

Should have a monthly or bi-monthly rank reset with the weekly point reset.
