I am sick of having to PvE to make money! I like to contribute with siege in WvW and one day want to be a commander, but idk how people afford siege/repairs/gear…I have 2 sets of exotics so I’m pretty set on gear but still would like to acquire more. I am saving badges for 3 more invaders accessories and would like to also save the 500 for legendary down the road, so I can’t really spend my badges on siege. Does anyone share my rage? I don’t want to run dungeons over and over or farm or play the trade post, I just want to WvW, but I am forced to PvE, I don’t like this. Drops in WvW were said to be increased, but I have not noticed any increase in loot. I don’t like SPvP, it’s not the same…

Do you feel you make decent gold in WvW? How do commanders afford so much siege? Have you noticed an increase in WvW loot?

Idk maybe I am just complaining, but please do not flame me for sharing my thoughts.

I make anywhere from 2g (no rare drops, just greens and blues) to 5g+ (yellows, or exotics) a night over just about 3 hours of playing. But then again, I run with a 6-7 man group and we farm zergs, getting tons of bags.

I find I make more in WvW then I do in PvE. Try looking up some ways to amass wealth. We’ve got some very wealthy players in the game, so there’s gotta be at least a few good tricks out there.

I make around 2g per night (ave about 2-3 hours in wvw) as a mostly small group/solo player on EB 90% of my playtime (opposed to the other BLS). Fight, gather, sell what you gather, vendor what you get for drops, buy siege. I usually always try to have around 6 rams, 6 arrow carts, 2 ballista, 2 catas and 1 treb on me at all times.

Also if you are really strapped just drop a 20 on payday and buy some gold from the TP. Problem solved.

1st PvE is better money source then WvW (actually if you are a really commander it’s a money sink), you can make money with it but far less then PvE guys/girls.

2nd Collect your team, play together in WvW for a while and pay together the commander sign, don’t be one of the ridiculous kids with the “blue sign”, the sign have a trick, its shows your name if someone move the cursor on it at the map, if you can`t prove that you are a commander (1st of all for your team who pays the bill), you ended up on the ignore list. Trust me WvW players find out fast who is a commander and who is the carebearkid.
