since patch i constantly hear voices and shouts of other chars even when noone is around or noone who could have said that
like:

-downed state call for help when using skill 4 from downed state from male asuras, humans and female humans

- human male “for great justice voice” when no warrior is even close

- Charr “hold your ground” voice when no other player at all is around

and more sentences…

maybe anet accidently increased the radius in which other players hear such shouts and player voices??

its really confusing and i constantly think a stealthed enemy player is around…

Try firing a mortar, it sounds like the barrage even on basic shots.

Same, lots of people hearing voices in the game.

Your Dumb, You’ll die and leave a dumb corpse…..is what i keep saying. Oh and “retreat!” except I’m on my Mesmer.

Hey lets form our own GW2 self help group! I know a peacekeeper warden in Rata Sum who will let me use a meeting room near the jail. I’m sure the drunken bear won’t disturb us much.

It sucks for roamers as I always think I’m about to get ganked when I hear all these random shouts.

Oh my gosh…I know right?! I keep having to look over my shoulder every few seconds.

Uhm, but let’s be serious… is this sound bug (I guess?) acknowledged by now and fixed anytime soon?
I find it very, very irritating and annoying to be honest, but I don’t really wanna turn the dialogue voices off… ugh.

My female char shouts “I need help” with a male voice and all I can do is agree… Not really sure why this bug has appeared since the latest patch but I hope they fix it soon as it is annoying.

I hear downed human females, and sylvari mesmers charging up their mantras.

I can guess this has something to do with their instancing. I’m sure it’s people in the overflow or main server bleeding over to the other(s). Aka, you are near the same location as a player in another instance/overflow producing the sound.

Nah happens in wvw too, also I’m a human necro but I’ll start hearing asura and norn warrior/guardian shouts going off in the middle of nowhere.
