Didn’t fight anyone, and didn’t really gain experience or anything. Does the PVP in this game get better, or am I doing it wrong? Cause I really missing Arathi Basin and Arenas right now after this experience!! Please tell me there is something else to do, lol!

I went to a tower and there was nothing going on, lol. Am I doing this wrong? Is there like a normal battleground type of pvp in this game or is it all open world like this?

There is the sPvP that are kinda like battlegrounds. You can acess it through the heart of the mists (The two sword icon on the menu).

you can try spvp if your looking for a battleground pvp style.

Also some of the lower teir servers have very slow wvw try one of the upper teir wvw servers.

How serious are you in this question, because the above answers are likely assuming you are just being sarcastic.

My advice is to jump into the Eternal Battlegrounds (which has a much faster pace than Borderland play) and try to get into a small roaming camp cap group. Small scale skirmishes over camps can be engaging if that’s your thing.

Right now Tier 2 is very, very competitive so if you’re looking for constant action try transferring to Tarnished Coast, Sanctum of Rall or Blackgate. Every time I’ve logged in there’s been a major operation underway, both attack and defense.

Originally, players got rewarded for escort duty but it was abused by bots and ArenaNet removed the rewards. Generally, dolyak escorting is only valuable if there is enough people coordinating to win a map. I think you did something that is potentially very useful to the team but not something that is personally rewarding. On GH, we have great respect for the people that have the patience to guard dollies. Again though I must stress its not worth it unless your team has a coherent plan to win/retain a map.

Here is the best thing you can do. When you jump into a WvW zone ask in map chat where help is needed. If you get an answer there you will find others doing stuff to help your team. If you don’t get an answer there might not be much going on in that map, so try one of the other three zones.
