1 treb could kill all of these within 4-5 minutes, then you’d be starved of supplies while your opponents build arrowcarts to prevent you from entering/leaving the tower while their treb kills the walls.

its because of impossible to take keeps in my tier , scouts arrow carts and trebs everywhere , no counter tactic against it.
only 1 thing left to do – its defend your keep which no one not trying to attack in ouer prime time.
so wvw is “i scouting my keep and no single fight for hours…”
its not silly , there is no rage quits . Just solitaire has a more dynamic gameplay. I think after this patch its serious competitor for gw2.

speed build 2 at the same time at seperate positions, your treb can’t turn as fast, as we take it down. Also building trebs behind obstacles might give us 1-2 free hits till you turned the treb.

If you ball up in plain sight and wait for them to turn their treb before starting to build, that’s your problem. You only need to know where their treb is, then you can take it out with a treb built behind some obstacle where they don’t have vision or at the least built where their treb is not facing at the moment. Think strategically. They are inside, you are outside. They are confined in a tower, while you basically have the whole map to perform your movements. Just kill their siege, they need to rebuild, kill it again, their supply is gone.

Catas by the wall don’t make much sense anymore but building them on elevated terrain gives them extra range that should keep them out of arrow carts just fine.

I like it too.

And I think it is having an affect on the zerg. We actually split our blob up last night! Amazing.

And our opponents actually had several groups running around and hitting multiple locations at once. Unheard of!

And despite the fact that we had AC’s defending Hills, they broke in the outter. We stopped them at the inner but the fight was great.

Catas by the wall don’t make much sense anymore but building them on elevated terrain gives them extra range that should keep them out of arrow carts just fine.

Oh yeah elevated terrain. There is always some of that near a tower/keep.

They could buff AC, but this is crazy…. map is to small for this kind of update, i cant compreend how they dont notice this!!

If they want castles\towers to flip less and be harder to conquest this is one of the worse options they could take(due wvw actual design).

The new AC change is great. It’s not like you’re going to actually be attacking while manning an AC anyway. I stood there for 45 secs last night at Klovan (on an AC) trying to get ANY of the abilities to fire. Nothing. Yet, the entire time the AC would not attack, the cats in the distance were knocking on the wall. Finally, I just left to LLK to set up a treb to take it back.

Ruprect is a very good player and I’m sure he has tried many different approaches. To Ruprect, I’m not sure the lack of queue is entirely due to ACs as TC took a beating earlier this week before the patch which may have discouraged some from getting on. It is also finals week and the new dungeon may have stolen some of our pugs.

You’d not even need a treb shot, look where they’re placed..you can hit most of them with AOE from the outside.
