New borderland maps cater to gliding.

But…if truth be told the whole gliding thing really reminds me of when I played Aion. Not sure if I would have implemented it in the expansion but that is just my opinion.

Bit unfair to add it to WvW because people would have an advantage. They already kinda do with the new armours and specialisations.

The logic used was just a fancy way of saying they don’t care.

Bringing up “advantages” is pretty silly when you have the WExp system, which would function just fine for all parties.

I would agree in theory, but there’s not much in the HoT WvW design that supports this kind of philosophy. Foods, guild buffs, etc.

The fairest way is just to make gliding baseline only in WvW and make it impossible to glide into structures. (no fly zones). No masteries allowed, and available to all. Consider it a commercial for non-HoT.

However, it’s entirely possible that people don’t want EB disrupted, so another option is to apply it only to the desert borderlands; I’m sure a lot of people don’t think it’d actually ruin them, since that assumes there was something to actually ruin.
