True, but, those ^ people you mention don’t tend to repeatedly post sarcastic threads in the WvW forum about how “great” they think the game is for all the lag they themselves get in t1, lol.

Meh whether this is sarcastic or not i hated pvp till i played this game and now its all that i do. Its far from perfect but that doesnt stop it being kittening awesome at times! People moan about it constantly yet they are still here lol.
Also this new Devon chap seems to be closer to the right page than the last guy was so things can only get better lol!

gotta agree , PVE and PVP are good but WvW is something else .

WvWvW was cloned from RvRvR of DAoC which was cloned from some other game Mark Jacobs , the creator of DAoC played.

Some employees of DAoC now work for Anet.

DAoC was created from the MUD called Darkness Falls (later to be the name sake of the PvP dungeon). Mythic ran that MUD so really what DAoC did was move their own ideas from the telnet style of play, which is how all us old timers MMO’d back then, to the graphic MMOs that are now common. They did not clone it from another game that MJ played, it was their own game.

Can’t decide if this is troll or not.. as for me I barely PvP’d before GW2 WvW, now I only ever leave to do quick dungeon runs to buy more siege lol.

For me WvW is the best thing you can do in GW2, its totally awesome…I am becoming seriously addicted…

I also never liked any form of PvP before GW2 and WvW…

I am on T1 by the way (always have been since day 1) and I don’t get any lag even in big zergs…

You are right, yes DAoC was the creator, but mark did say he took the idea from an old game(cant remember what he said)

On another note, i find it cute how all the new gw2 players like this 3 sided warfare that we daoc vets had for years Btw Im fuzzion rr12L1 from hibernia classic. before that was merlin. You?

I don’t care if this thread was supposed to be troll or not. I absolutely love WvW it’s my favourite part of GW2. So it has some issues and bugs but the dev’s genuinely seem to care about fixing them and making it even better. /salute Anet

True story, this is by far my favorite part of the game. If WvW wasn’t in here, I might have stopped playing a bit ago – I’m not much for pve aspects of a game. WvW is a blast and I think they really nailed it.

Totally agree, I used to love Wintersgrasp in wow . That was my only PvP gaming, I’m not fast on a key board and therefor 1v1 is a bad thing lol, I seem to be a steady bag suppler LOL , maybe I need a cut. Here I can help in so many other ways . Love that.
In fact, I like it so much that I have now lvl’ed 6 to 80 in WvWvW.
It be nice with a different map for each team but I realize that it must be a ton of work to make that happen, so for a ’ free ’ game experience, A1 to Anet.
