The hassle of completely reworking my traits every time I want to play real WvW instead of PvE completely kills all motivation for me. Please fix this so that we can have a WvW trait build and a PvE trait build preset.

Allowing people to save and load builds would be a general improvement. I don’t see why 60 seconds of retraiting would prevent you from playing wvw though.

I think build load outs would be a great addition to the game not just for changing between game modes. As a necro, I have 4 builds I’m geared for and it would really be a nice quality of life change. Though I have to say I don’t have a huge issue retraiting its more the different gear sets.

60 seconds times two for retraiting back to a PvE build, then also being forced to memorize two trait setups or more, as well as being forced to waypoint to a retrainer and pay 7 silver.

It prevents me from just popping in and out of WvW without a significant investment.

This is awesome, I main an engineer and every engineer knows how many builds we can run this should really make things fun, although I’d like to know what the requirements for changing specs would be I think in wvw being able to change specs out of combat would allow some classes a pritty big advantage

I would easily pay 1g instead of 3.5s for skill reset if we had maybe 3 preset builds instead of just one (together with their own gear in a separate inventory).

GW1 had skill bar templates — it was clearly a good, desirable feature. I have no idea why it has taken a year for Anet to give us templates in GW2.

While i think everybody agrees that template save and load (and maybe separated from pve/wvw) would be neat, i have to agree with this….

They talked about it in the last spvp state of the game on guildwars2guru. Wasn’t much details except that it’ll work like most templates in other games.

You could either just use 1 build if you are too lazy to switch every time. 3 silver ain’t much you know.

Why don’t you set up your traits for WvW and the do the easy PvE with those traits. Its what I do. All open world PvE can be done with whatever traits you have for WvW, no problem…

OR

Have multiple characters, use 1 foe PvE, 1 for WvW and 1 for PvP if you wnt, no problem…

No, don’t fix this.

What’s PvE? Is that where the dragons I’ve heard about live?
