Taking a wild guess, maybe the GM is excited that he handed out a few banhammers to hackers/exploiters in this matchup?

And by good I think the GM means all ebg is green and YB is cruising along at 500 points? Maybe good if the GM is currently playing on YB. Not so good if on FA or SoS.

Errr, GM can (probably) change server at his own will. Last time I checked “GM Proheals” was on TC (You can check others’ server by adding them and checking out the leaderboard list).

It will end the same way it always ends. FA will stomp YB and SOS into the dirt. Its just what they do.

Believe he was on SoS last night. At least saw the GM tag up on the garri roof when we broke in there for the first SoS/FA/YB 3-way. Didn’t notice him the next two times.

Its kinda mind boggling isnt it, first thing I wondered is does he realize that players are not allowed to make threads like this and then just made it anyway to flaunt it in our face, like abuse of power, or did he just not realize? only time will tell I guess, if he actually comes back to clear this up…

You should come hang with us down in the slums of rank 21… We made a comeback on Wednesday to take second place and then suddenly had someone doing stuff like building 10 golems in out garrison while it was being attacked. I wasn’t online at the time, but I know a few people reported them.

I don’t think I have ever seen an Anet tag on FC or the servers we fight.

Is a PvP game, the silly premise is that we’re to spend all day doing our utmost to defeat each other in violent fashion then settle down for a pleasant cup of tea after.

This is now my favourite thread on the forums currently, mainly because its just funny to see people linking the rules to a dev, and I have to say I appreciate your honesty Michael and your sense of humor about it, respect.

Only because its completely unmoderated. For some reason the forum owner thinks that results in more worthwhile discussion. In reality that forum shows how bad a completely unmoderated forum is.

A discussion can be had, both good and bad ideas shared.
Just because you don’t like something being said, doesn’t mean it should be censured.. That’s a founding principle of democracy

It isn’t completely unmoderated, though. Accounts have been banned from it, and posts removed. Lightly moderated is probably more accurate, but what do you ‘moderate’ and what do you allow? How far do you go before people quit using it? Or more likely, who in the world would have the time or will to sit and moderate all that constantly, and who would actually want to.

When I compare the current GW2officialWvW and GW2wvw.net front pages it’s rather difficult to say which one has less relevance to the ongoing matches.

So… being that person who decided to keep it super mildly moderated. I pose to you the exact same question I ask every time

Who would you trust to moderate unbiasedly? And who would be willing to do it and go through hundreds of posts per day?

So far no one has been able to answer that satisfactorily. Trust me, if I moderated as if I had the time to and I wanted to clean it up, half of the people there would be banned, but then what makes it different than the anet moderation? We know that pvp’rs typically get a bit more…. excited, and therefore I allow for that. Don’t want to read it? Don’t go there (although I think that the video section is quite useful to all).

That said, I derive a laugh or two from the forum, which is why I glance through my own matchup from time to time.

Yes but when first it’s a thread there any one else would post they would be infracted, and second it isnt what people want to hear; it’s kindda annoying.

We still havent got an update from Steve regarding the lag issues.
