For us small guilds who have trouble getting enough supply grouped together to make an impact. As in 3-4 man teams. We struggle to get supply to build a ram/cata/treb and then have to run back for supply. In that time guards can respawn and kill what we have built already. Making this a long and painful process. So I have a suggestion.

Create a new trap called a portable supply depo. This supply depo can hold up to 50 supply. It can be withdrawn by any ally, and can be destroyed by any enemy. (I guess this would make it a portable supply depo siege weapon – taking 50 supply to build).

Either way this would add a new dynamic to WvW and really be a great boon to small groups! Sure it would help zergs a bit but it really wouldn’t have the same impact as it would to small groups trying to hit hard.

Your thoughts please. (bumps welcome too for the Dev’s to notice!)

Bump – Cuz I think this is worth looking at.

I agree that it would be nice to have a way to carry extra siege around when running in small groups – you can get siege up with a 3-man group if you can claim a camp for 15 supp, but that’s not always possible, and it sucks leaving all that supply behind for the enemy to take back.

Maybe instead of siege or a trap, since I’m not really sure this falls into either of those categories, it could be an upgrade/payment thing at the camp where you can hire a personal dolyak to carry some extra supply? Dolyaks are kinda slow so while it may not be as fast as resupplying (depending on how close your target is to the camp) you don’t have to worry about your siege getting killed by guards or enemies when you leave it alone.

I would love to have a option to buy a dolyak that carried 25 supply to move as part of a personal logistics train. Get a small party, 5 people grab 15 supply then hire out the 5 dolyaks and creep up to hills cata spot, throw down the sup catas and acs and go after it.

I think our mini Dolyaks should give us a +15 supply buff :-)
