Ideas about stopping WvW Spies?
I don’t agree or disagree with your suggestion, but here are two things to consisder:
1. This would limit the income anet receives from transferring (gem purchasing) and thus would probably not be implemented.
2. Many people already have a ton of $5-$10 accounts scattered all over many servers so regardless of the matchup, the hardcore spy (if such a thing exists) would not be affected because they already have an account in-place.
You cant “stop” them any more than you can stop real spies. If someone truly want to get into what in GW2 is a wide open organisation, they will. A real spy would have an account on your server and for all intents and purposes be a normal player.
Anet could do some simple things to avoid it being too annoying, like having default guild only tactivation but that’s just not going to happen.
If you are complaining about tactivators, they can expand the permissions list to include specific guilds instead of a simple permissions list like to everyone or to the owner guild.

Something should be done...the refresh is far too long.
On the upside, at least we get a headsup that an attack is incoming when that happens.
My solution: 1 IP-adress=1 server. That will stop the $5-$10 accounts from spreading around.
If there was a way to label your guild was wvw and other guilds you join can see that label of the other guild your in.

Well you CAN stop them, simply by making activators guild only (which players can do now). But nobody seems to want to do this. Short term guild only would nix a lot of this.
