Ideas to improve WvW

I don’t mind golems on the TP. I like those rushes. Some servers still do long siege because golem rushes are not always the right thing to do for that moment.
Don’t mind seeing #2 though I’d like to see the existing commander tag just have that option to select instead of needing a separate tag.
Would not mind seeing increased party size but with how AoE boons have a limit of 5, I think what we have now is fine since boons prioritize party which is 5.
They removed the bank from the borderland spawns because it was bugged and not supposed to be there, but they also didn’t want banks there because they didn’t want people to take up space on the map just to hit the bank, even if it is a quick stop. I don’t see #5 being introduced. You have to upgrade or have a personal banker which is fine with me.

If I had any other specific ideas, I would have listed them though I’ve already stated many in the past and don’t care to regurgitate.
I’m just addin in my 2c to your ideas.
A new buyable tag – “Lieutenant” for 30-50 gold. for leading havoc squads or something.

I would like to see custom colourized commander tags, mobile anti-zerg/zerg vs zerg siege, more variable siege in general, more merc recruitment, more specialized mercs that are tough to kill and more varied maps or changes to old ones since they’re getting… well old.
What I really want is server numbers and the imbalance from it fixed. I know this won’t happen because it would be a coding nightmare and take a complete redesign of WvW. In my perfect WvW… world, I “think” I would love to see 3+ servers per team, with each server randomly chosen from each tier/league and also chosen to balance server population. Maybe tracking how many participate and for how long in WvW on each server per week. This would expose smaller WvW servers to larger server tactics, numbers and expertise. Although winning as an “alliance” would count towards weekly bonuses etc., individual server performance could be tracked as well in order to sustain a semi proper rank system for the following week’s matchups.
Then WvW maps could be expanded or new ones implemented. Latency issues would have to be seriously addressed, but lower server populations or those with major coverage gaps wouldn’t have to worry as much and sink more into WvW depression.
I am sure there are some Luxons around that could raise some Siege Turtles for a small fee.

Also, I understand that they want WvW territories to be taken by factions back and forth but I really think they should reward the defensive type players a bit more. I mean by that that a lot of times nobody cares upgrading camp/tower/keep because they know that a 4 man team can take a whole map by themselves if undefended. I find ridiculous that 2 guys can take out a fully upgraded camp and 3-4 guys can take out Garrison… They have got to make those upgrades count for more I think. And those Omegas…they suck the fun out of WvW. Finally, id like to know how they “award” the “outnumbered” buff. Sometimes we are clearly outnumbered 5 to1 but we dont get the buff. Maybe add an NPC faction that could come balance the game play.
I forgot to mention, the rewards for defending vs attacking should be the same and they should introduce a new achievement based on upgrades that you start on camps/towers/keeps.
As to make wvw more fun for all I’d like to see a huge drop in points you gain from capping structures and up the tally for killing your enemy. Anything that makes players fight each other more then running around capping structures is a step in the right direction imo.
