Just random toilet break while I’m at work forum surfing thought…

If I was to design the map, I’ll keep the bls the same with with all the towers and keeps, but I’ll make eb just smc castle, just 3 paths going towards the castle that way you can have a map of nonstop defending and attacking trying to hold that position. Probably on the paths there, there will be different kind of terrains and maybe a half tower half camp type of thing where u can get supplies and have a wall but not have it closed off entirely. Whoever is holding smc has to fight off 2 sides so they can’t hold it forever and at the same time attackers can go around to the other attacks and slow them down. But off course this sounds better in my head in an ideal map where numbers are balanced.

This just sounds more fun to me as it seems like it can have nonstop action either with blobs going head on or smaller groups deviating the other attackers movement and defenders actually having to defend

Honestly, that sounds .. boring since you remove much of the strategic value of the map. to control a map you force the opponents hand. To keep SMC, for example you may have to sacrifice your keep. You should be able to draw offensive and defensive fights and be able to reverse those potions on the battlefield. Of course the hours fighting in lords room is great, the problem is that you just dumbed it down a bit and reduce the intensity of having to choose between the objectives being hit and the number of ways it can be hit.
