Maybe our money will? I’m sure this thread will get locked or deleted, but it’s not intended as any kind of troll post. Despite the almost unanimous community distaste for leagues and bloodlust, it seems that Devon and the team are intent on shoving it down our throat. All I can say is perhaps those that feel strongly about it should protest by not spending their money on this game until ANET explains their reasoning behind releasing content that will be the final nail in the coffin of a dying prat of this game (bloodlust and leagues).
To the mods, you can keep locking, deleting and censoring posts and this forum, but the amount of hate and distaste going around is not a coincidence. We do not want what you are releasing, and we don’t have to continue playing either. Believe it or not, there will be large scale PvP games that will be released and will steal away your community here if you don’t get serious about listening to your customers. It isn’t the other way around, we paid you so that you make content that we want. It doesn’t have to be perfect, and some slip ups are of course allowed, we’re all humans, but a year of almost unexcusable neglect has been plaguing WvW development. It isn’t just me, as evidenced by the multitude of threads and replies here. The dissenting group of content releases may be more vocal, but I’ve yet to run into people who are optimistic that leagues and bloodlust will do anything other than divide the community (ingame or otherwise). My servers WvW map chat is constantly full of people dreading the release of blood lust and returning to the disliked Orb hacking days.
Please, I know you don’t like to hear things phrased this way, and want it to be flowery, but those threads don’t accomplish anything. I word it strongly because I feel strongly, and you should feel strongly about retaining your customers.

The vast majority of people does not post on the forums.
And even if it were far from everyone is actually against it.
I havent spent a dime on GW2 since last November.

you’re right, I’m sure SoR is all for it.
I think there r more against anet than with them. A lot of people have just quit the game. My guild at one time would field 50+ every reset and 30+ every night with our record being 80 people in wvw at one time. Now its more like 20,25 on reset and 15-20 every other night. I know other guilds have had same thing happen.

Thats like saying the outcome of a political election doesnt matter because a lot of people didnt actually bother to vote.
Well, it does. There is a big group of people that cares enough about stopping this to take to the forums. Whereas only a handful of people actually seem to support this idea. And really the only name to constantly pop up defending it, is, well just you.
And guess what, there is also a lot of people who dont actually play WvW. Should their opinion on this matter aswell?
Plenty of reasons have been given that this is a terrible idea, and a lot of people are against these planned changes. And all you do is constantly try to downplay it on the chance, the mere possibility, that everyone outside of the forums likes it! They just havent bothered to come out of the woodwork and say so…
I havent spent a dime in GW2 since 2 months after release
and until the day I see them focusing more in WvW and less in PvE, I wont be spending any either
in other words, i’ll never spend money in GW2 again

I’ll play this game:
Since the majority of ppl do not post on forums in support of these changes they must be against it.
Can work both ways mate, but in the end the majority of posters here ARE against these changes.
