why not account progression?
If you play with more than one Character in WvW, you get experience in the whole system. Than it’s better to get ranks for your whole account.
Otherwise it’s a hard restrict just to play a single class in WvW.

Let me guess you have 1 lvl 80 and don’t want to see others get benefit from there other 80s? Otherwise why in hell would you even suggest something like this.

Would like to see each player / objective be worth a set amount of xp based on the level of the player or how upgraded the keep/tower/camp is. That set amount would be divided among players contributing to the kill/taking of the objective.

This would serve to split up the zergs a bit since people would obviously want to use as few people as possible to take each point to maximize their own progression. That would relieve some of the issues with culling as well as make for a much more strategic game in WvW.

Bad idea. If I’m a major in an army in real life I’m still a major no matter whether I’m carrying a rifle, driving a tank, manning a Howitzer, or sitting behind a desk. Besides, what conceivable enhancement to the game is there for imposing such a restriction?? At least if ranks/titles are by account it broadens the scope of classes likely to show up in WvW.

I am ok with it either way as long as the progression is open ended and difficult to obtain. Last thing we want is people obtaining max rank and quitting again because they lack progression.

Of course if we don’t make progression by character, there will so be no options to track things by class easily. Trade offs either way.

I actually have 3 80’s, i would like to see individual character ranking because say i come across a rank 10 or w.e guardian solo i know he must have some idea on how to play that toon rather than just made it

Why not have both?
Some class/char-specific rankings and some account-specific… it doesnt exclude itself.

How about you keep your titles and give me something I actually care about.
