Why out of all of the fun stuff, Wintersday siege is not included?!?!?!

I fired a Superior Catapult….nothing but a boulder

I fired a treb nothing but a boulder

I fired a ballista nothing but a stupid arrow bolt

I fired Arrow Carts Nothing but Arrows!!!!

WHY!?!?!?!

Because there can only be annoying LS stuff in W3, fun stuff is pve exclusive. ^^

IMO Anet missed a huge opportunity to make money off of the gemstore.

He is referring to last years siege, where the ballista fired candy canes, and cata/treb fired large snow balls.
Was a global update made to all siege and their effects for the period of winters day.
Would be a shame if they simply forgot to add it in this year.

What’s funny and a bit confusing is that computer code is reusable and very easy to put in and out of any patch – so your comments are doubly painful to savvy players.

Tonight our catas were firing presents some of the time and the regular rocks at other times. I’d rather have the presents all the time. We just want to give you presssies, FA!

GOm had snowball launchers(our trebs) for a while,

I noticed the siege weapons in the Ascalon battle fractal were firing candy canes .

Cane-carts hurt!

Funny, my siege fired Christmas themed projectiles. I lol’d hard at a Christmas wrapped boulder smacking into a zerg outside a gate.

Made me feel like Santa “Take your presents kittenes!!”

Because it’s a purely cosmetic holiday feature that has absolutely 0 impact on actual gameplay.

Not sure you understand what PvE means. A cosmetic change to WvW-exclusive items (siege) =/= PvE content.

It seems if you have any Wexp ranks invested in the siege you are using it will revert to the normal rocks/bolts e.t.c if you don’t you fire the presents, candycanes e.t.c.

Last night we had two trebs next to each other. The treb next to me was firing flaming spheres of death while I was lobbing freezing blobs of destruction.

Anet could make siege that fired different elemental projectiles which then could be used in some combo field way to do even more damage, either to players, siege, structures.

Regular catapults shoot gifts.

if you have 0 mastery, you will fire gifts/snowballs/candy canes.

if you have any mastery, you will get normal animations.

for the betterment of your server, make sure you never see the special animations.

The supply dolyaks are carrying gifts now.

somebody was aoe christmas ornaments type stuff at a gate too, how did they do that?
