This is happening alot more now that theres population on each map. are we going to be getting a fix for this? reaper shroud 2 does it a lot.

Are you talking about a bug with the condition? Or an actual bug with player movement, because yea its quite annoying and has been going on for awhile, usually dodging or some movement skill helps fix it, but it is still very inconvenient.

both if i have to say. imob mid air and from skill movement. /sit shouldnt be what i have to do inside a blob

Its been happening several times tonight, extremely annoying

I believe it happens when you use a movement skill (i.e. Guardian Greatsword 3 or Reaper shroud 2) then use dodge during and/or after right away. It really is annoying when I shroud 2 towards my tower then try to dodge inside – only to be stuck in place and run over by a blob

Very annoying and long lived bug indeed. It has been in the game from the very beginning.

Teleport skills in general seem to trigger this bug. You teleport and then notice you are unable to move.

There are few tricks you can use to free yourself (1st being the least effective):

1. teleport again
2. weapon swap
3. emote
4. waypoint

If GW2 allowed macros I’d add an emote to every teleport skill.

Does this ever occur in sPvP? If not, could the same fix be applied to WvW maps?

Just happened again for me lol, this time was rezzing someone on a pve map got rooted and unable to dodge after that person was rezzed.

Yeah this usually happens to me when I get knocked down while trying to dodge or stun break or maybe just after. When it happens on ele I have to reset to fix it. Nothing will work. I can use all skills but can’t move or jump. Really annoying in the middle of a big fight.

When it happens on reaper I can usually clear it up with a movement skill.

Get it every time i am hit by the imob cobdition. Have to stop pressing w and then press it again. Makes certain 1on1s quite the gamble…

I think they said until we can replicate it in a pattern they have a really big issue in IDing this one.

Are you doing an emote? That usually clears it.

I am not an advocate of macroing, but setting up a /dance key which fixes the stuck problem feels necessary on some builds. This is particularly true on the BLs where terrain height exacerbates the issue.
