Implementing new WVW lobby
Waste of resources.
WvW needs big stuff, the nickle and dime approach got us where we are now.

Yes – If we can burn off our participation in the lobby, then this would be a good place to put all the vendors. (Would still want a armor repair anvils on regular maps, though.)
Q – What do you do with the people less than level 100, and why would you segregate them? I would think a lobby would be a good place for new players to meet seasoned players, find guilds, talk about builds and strategy…

Please, for the love of Dwayna, no new currency. We already have the coins.
No to forcing people into the lobby between maps. Some people like to try to play while waiting in a long queue. I may decide to farm nodes in PvE, or run around EoTM while I wait. Also, some people have terrible load times and this would double it. Plus, commanders (especially pugmanders) tend to lose followers when switching maps, and this would just add to the rage.

Guild commander feature – Doesn’t sound useful, and would hate to see development time wasted.

I think u missunderstood the >100 one.
I just thought newer People will get a Little tutorial and will spawn (Only the fist time they join the lobby) in the Training area.
Ofc they got full acces to the Lobby, and second time they join it, they will spawn where all Players will spawn..

Well its totally wasted effort anyway.
Sadly we got Anet working against us on this, not with us. They removed the tiny little bit of “tutorial” for WvW that we had in Siegerazer (ie an NPC showing you how to take a tower) instead of improving the system.
Wait a minute….how am I gonna buy salvage kits and node tools? Also agree that there needs to be repair option and sell option for all the kitten kitten sigs/runes/junk.
This would take far to much time and possibly put you on queue on your map to leave to go to lobby to handle inventory management.
Sure the portable provisioner gets you siege, but that’s all.
A few months of work into a WvW “feature” that most players will blow right past… uhh… no.

I like the basic idea, for several reasons.
- Having a persistent WvW map per Link/Server, so you can meat up with others, look for server members etc, have easy access to all the facilities without creating queue’s etc.
- Good place to meet up and plan/organize stuff
- Preferably that doesn’t throw you out every week reset, and that lets you stay in like the pvp/hotm map, where you can stay all day etc.
- Keep participation, obviously.

We could start with NPCs in WvW area of LA. Could be at Fort Mariner or somewhere else.
So you don’t have to join WvW map if all you wanted was to buy jewelry for tokens and laurels or something from Heroic Notary.

I think this would be nice. But the lobby thing sounds pointless
