Looking at the matchups this week did Anet increase rng to look at how the leagues will play out and see if lower tier servers can really put up a fight against higher tiers?

Not sure. But we have been matched up against DB before. We got slaughtered each time and look to again this time. And DB is “only” rank 6 so can’t wait to go up against those T1 servers.

Quite possibly.. I didn’t expect the match-ups to look like this at all in all honesty. But once this week is over they’ll have their much needed “proof” that the higher tier servers basically slaughter anything in their way when matched against the low tier ones…

Like we didn’t know the higher tier servers destroyed the low ones either way. :\

Honestly I expect the T1 servers to win. Every server can’t be even and there will be a “strongest team”. But only 2 leagues of 12 teams? That is just stupid. Should be 4 leagues of 6 teams. They would be more evenly matched with some upset potential.

I think its part of their plan: demotivating people on lower tier servers , and give them more reasons to transfer to T1 before the league starts
