So i am sick of this happening, it has happened about 10 times this week. I go near a cliff, and insta die. This time, after spending about 5 minutes jumping up to this kittening vista, i get to the top, and instadie. Nothing in combat log, noone around me, cant be ressed. It is REEAAAAALLLLYYY annoying

Hmmmm. There is a mountain in Frostgorge just out of Skylight Steading WP that also kills people -drains your health FAST, not showing in combat. This must be some sort of bug. This happens to be on the way to a champ in the train and everyone has learned to dodge and jump to avoid the health drain. I had no idea it happened elsewhere. I feel your frustration. Maybe ANet should have a look at this.

Maybe you’re just lagging and the game sees you as running off the cliff, but your ragdoll is still at the top, hence why you can’t be ressed.

Yeah im pretty sure thats why, but its still annoying as hell, especially at the end of a jumping puzzle/vista, or when standing still at the top of hills

Walk backwards the last steps to make sure you don’t lag off the ramp.

Sorry I coudn’t help but laught at this since I have a lot of friends rage on voice comms because of this, lagged to death, literally

I lose a ton of health everytime i walk down stairs or inclines in heavy populated maps, i always blame it on the lag
