Forced to edit my reply, due to you editing yours. So here it is. What IF we had no supply? Isnt that why im capping a SUPPLY camp in the first place?
I guess.
I give it two weeks to four months to expect a fix to this dire issue. Until then, put an arrowcart on it?
Or ranged AOE?
Or, get out of combat and jump up there?
OR pull him down?

Can’t..
Have no supply :c
Very sad times are ahead.
A thief with short bow, or a mesmer pull, or an ele meteor shower, or an engineer… or a necro… Seriously, it’s a minor annoyance at best since unless you’re running a warrior/guardian only party, any single person should be able to get them down.
I think that’s fun What class was up there?

Uh…..we had 2 guardians and 1 d/d ele hahaha
or be warrior, equip 1h sword and get him!
the problem with this one is, that the dude on the rooftop can prevent capping. mesmers could pull him down, but some classes and builds will have a hard time with this one.
i think this has to be fixed as i am sure it’s not intended as certain classes can’t reach it

Any class can get up there, people have whined for months about this but any halfway competent group can deal with it.
By the time I do all of your solutions that you guys suggested, backup has already arrived for the camper above, which is usually 10+…I shouldn’t have to deal with this in the first place. Plus the person on the rooftop could just use stability, or dodge any simple aoe.

holy cow, 977 screenshots so far?!
“Omg a moa bird! screenshot”
You all must be from the generation that got trophies and awards just for participating. If you want him down and want to cap it, get him down and kill him. Don’t complain until someone else gets him down, or makes it so he can’t get up there in the first place. You adapt, and overcome. You try until you succeed…nerfs and restrictions happen because people get mad that someone figured out something before they did, or because people found ways to win
Just look for the black bearded human.

I like a good challenge just as much as the next person, I mean.. I was disappointed about the confusion Nerf, and I haven’t played a Mesmer or Engineer in my life, mainly because it decreased the skill cap for players and reduced challenge.
But this is just kind of stupid. You say we would “adapt, and overcome” this issue, however as easy as you may think it might be to get him off the rooftop, there are several things that can delay the capture of the camp.
What if he was there before we attacked the camp? (xformed into a quaggan?) we cant see his nameplate or know hes there at all.
What if we’re in combat? You can’t make the jump whilst being in combat mode, and in my case, I didn’t have a profession that could pull him down or AoE him (assuming that he couldn’t just move a few steps away from the AoE or just pop stability from a pull [Which probably wouldn’t pull him the whole way down anyway])
What if by the time you finally get the guy down, backup of 10+ has already arrived to make sure you do not capture the camp? (which is what happened in my situation)
I find it all very…stupid. At least with confusion, I could actually beat the said Mesmer or Engineer I was fighting, because I knew when not to attack. But when backup can arrive so quickly to a camp, every second is precious, and getting someone down from that area (which we don’t even know is intended) could and does waste precious time that you need.
Confusion: Possible to beat
10v1 because of a quaggan on the rooftop I didn’t notice: Stupid.
