I found out following a hunch, while doing my Predator quests.

With those vines that allow the players to vault; it is also possible to implement it into WvWvW.
First the player have to build a Wagon of those vines, with lots of supplies.
Also, with every tier of acquired Keeps, Garrisons and Towers, the walls get higher and have more Hit Points.
Imagine the giggles with both implementation.
As for mounts in WvWvW, it seems more feasible with an expansive map.
Perhaps a sixth map filled only with sandstorms and almost nothing else called the Red Dune.
Players mount and clash there with low visibility. With all those blood spilling in the mist dune, thus named the Red Dune.
Objective of the map is to acquire an item that randomly spawns in the location of that map every hour. That item allows the server who have it to have an upper hand for an hour to conquer the maps in WvWvW.

Battler One: OMG! OMG! OMG! That enemy battler is so kinky, look at those divine tendrils beaming out of her/him. I am sooooooo going to give myself to her/him.
Battler Two: No you don’t! I will be the special one.
I am sure there are players who only play WvWvW and PvP want to have one of those transformable armor from Raid even though the medium version looks like an armadillo’s shell overgrowth and the heavy version looks like some solar panels or all in one ironing board.
Here is an idea.
Everytime a server manage to take ninety percent of the WvWvW maps combine, a Raid Boss tear through the mist in the Eternal Battleground heading beeline towards Stonemist Castle screaming, “I WANT MY COOKIES!” Spawning from the winning server side of the map.
If hundred percent is taken of the combined maps, all Raid Bosses spawn. Each server side of the map in the Eternal Battleground spawns one, and each of those Raid Bosses head straight to Stonemist Castle. If those bosses manage to destroy Stonemist Castle, their next target would be the Keeps, and if they are still around after the Keeps, they go for the Towers; and follow by the Supply Camps and perhaps players who would like to cuddle with them.
If those Raid Boss are killed, they drop items allowing WvWvW players to craft Raid legendary armors as well.
YAY! I can go back and enjoy the game.
Oh wait… Asuran technology can be used as an excuse to make pogo sticks and hover boards for mounts. A donkey can be used as a skin for the jackal, erm… its magic. I can see my Norn on a donkey riding blissfully.
