Hello! As the title suggests are there ever times when TC isnt full? My sister just recently started playing again and i wanted to move to TC where she is so we can WvW together (we are both from the EU so we wont be adding to the NA queue times if there are any ). As the past couple of days i’ve been trying to seems to be constantly full, when i’ve seen both Blackgate and JQ go down to very high, i was wondering if TC ever goes down to very high or if i should just give up now.

I saw TC go from full to very high yesterday actually, I wish I could give a time. Id have to guess, probaly, around 2 PM EST? I noticed because I am on JQ, and I went, oh wierd, BG/JQ full but TC isnt, I wonder if thats a bad sign. Later that night when I got home, as I guested to one of my favorite servers (HoD), I noticed it was re-full.

Unfortunately, I would say this is the exception to the norm as of recently as whenever I guest in the past week or so its almost always full for me and thats why i took extra note and shock to the server not being full. So I wouldnt count on it, but yes, it can happen if your persistent apparently.

Also, try asking people in LA to all logoff at once so the server has room

Thanks for replying and giving me a tiny little glimmer of hope. I guess i’ll keep trying until i have driven myself insane and then give up and find another server to settle down on and try to persuade my sister to move. Thanks again

TC does almost always stay full, and I’ve heard rumors that it does tend to go down to very high at around noon EST. As far as the legitimacy of that rumor I have no clue. I know one of my guild mates took a vacation to an EU server and has been looking to transfer back, and that’s the information he found when looking into the same matter.

On a side note, if you and your sister are looking to join a WvW guild send me a private message and I’ll give you some names of a few TC WvW guilds, either way I’ll see you on the battlefield in the near future.

Try between 2-5am eastern. That’s generally when it drops down. We have a ton of PvE’ers.

Incase anyone else is interested, my friend managed to transfer over at around 6pm GMT last night, and i just managed to transfer over at 7pm GMT. Hope this helps someone

It spent all its time at the next bracket down a few weeks ago (is that ‘very high’ or am I thinking of another game?) but I gather that with the new content for this living story chapter a lot of people started getting emails, reading patch notes and logged back in.

TC is the best server. It’s always full…because it’s the best server. xD

That said…good luck getting in! I think it’ll lighten up once the southsun event is over.

Generally speaking I find that wherever I am in the world, 3-4 am local is the deadest time there is.

Probably just a couple of minutes i guess? I had a day off today and whilst doing other stuff on my pc spent pretty much all day logging in and out of the game to refresh the server list, and although i saw BG and JQ go down to very high, they didnt stay down for long. Like i said, around 7pm GMT (which was about 30 mins ago) i did manage to transfer, but like you say i guess it doesnt stay very high for long. Gl getting across though, i know how frustrating it is!

Yeah that’s the key .. you can’t just sit at logon screen … it won’t update that way apparently. You have to relaunch the game to get an “accurate” refresh.

really?? I’ve been opening and re-opening that world section at the character screen literally all night long. ~sigh~ Guess I’ll be spending the afternoon logging and relogging. Too bad theirs not an app for population/server load tracker. ;(

It’d be wonderful if Anet has an online API to show server status as well like many MMO’s seem to do. This way all you need to do is press F5 on a webpage rather than restarting the client which is a tedious job. Please look into this Anet.

I planned on that last night…tho it seemed TC had their garry on DBBL. I think I gave up and defended DBBL Hills n such after the 6th failed attempt against you guys. Sheesh!!! you TC’ers were determined to keep that garry.

Those were some good fights with you FA guys though. That was our guild zerg you went up against several times.

After an 11 hour marathon yesterday, just as i was about to give up, the gate did open and somehow i managed to resist jumping up and down with glee long enough to transfer! It is so nice to be back on TC though

And for the person from FA, dont worry i wont pose too much threat to you on the battlefield, for some reason i decided to delete all my characters and start afresh so im still all little hehe.

Yeah its because of our high PvE population but im seeing it regularly drop to very high at around 2am to something like 4am CST, anywhere in that timeframe and sometimes later you can get in

I got my account transferred yesterday right around 1PM (PST) but as I clicked to transfer my hubbys account, it said I had a connection error, so I missed his chance. So here I am again today, trying and trying and trying. lol We’ll get it done eventually. Don’t you guys have to go eat lunch or something? I’ll send dessert if it’ll make you guys log for 5 minutes
