What is WvW like on these servers? Are there people on the borderlands during most hours of the day? How many?

I’m having a blast in Silver. The borderlands tend to get a lot of action especially during primetime. My server is pretty low pop when it comes to WvW but we still go out and fight like crazy people. We may be last in our league, but we find challenging fights rather than fight the Queues. You will get the occasional skill lag in SM when the map is completely full, but that’s going to happen to every server. The borderlands however end up having some awesome battles. yea its great no queues, very little lag, and fights everywhere its alot of fun ;]

I’m having a great time. Plus we have some of the best roamers. I’m looking at you SPCA.

The lag you get in silver league might be as bad as in gold as there must be something different since the last patch. You even start lagging if there is 50 people fighting somewhere else on the map equally to a 100+ man threeway fight inside of sm in the past.
You definetly will have shorter to no queues though. And regarding EU, the best guilds are mostly piled up on silver league servers. And compared to vizunah or piken (two servers i played in the last weeks against) the fights are just better overall.

Silver has been pretty awesome. I play PST/OCX and there has been fights everywhere. 5-10 minutes ques at the worst. Some of the best guilds in all of GW2. Some skill lag i will admit but nothing compared to the one SOR match up we had a couple months ago. Bottom line is a De-sack of T1 is in order now. Maybe in the past you could say “we went to T1 for fights”, but it’s just not the case with leagues anymore. 3 hours ques mean you don’t play and you can’t get your guild together if you do get in. There are fights kitten everywhere because of all the new players in silver. Additionally i would add I’ve already heard multiple people say they never W3 before, but now that they’ve tried it they love it, and it is there preferred game mode now. So i don’t think these ques are going anywhere as new people are seeing what we’ve known for a year now W3 is GW2 endgame.

Seriously wish I was in silver league for some roaming action (if it’s actually better). I’m not a fan of Maguuma right now.

Honestly the wall fight says it all. Os <3’s silver league.

no queue whatsoever during weekdays… still great fight, be it stomping or get stomped….

Loving the Silver League on Yaks. I predict we will come in 3rd behind either FA or SBI, but we will make them work for it

Tends to vary. In my case I find more enjoyment out of roaming with a small group of people and trolling around in enemy territory than blindly following some idiot commander like a lemming. You do have the usual issues that take the enjoyment out of it, like Thieves that do nothing but run like kittenes, people that put siege in terrible places, elitists that yell at you if you’re not doing what they want you to do (which is often times blindly following the commander like a lemming), commanders letting towers get taken for no reason whatsoever, etc.

Then again, I have a hard time getting along with most people in the game anyway, since the majority just manage to find ways to kitten me off with their idiocy. Not really the game’s fault, just a terrible community overall. You can just look at most of the forum threads and see that for yourself.

We still get queues, but it’s mostly on EB where most of the action is. Input lag kicks in from time to time, which makes things really weird, and dolyaks have been exhibiting really strange behavior lately such as teleporting and not getting buffed from walls. Hoping that things get spruced up in the next patch.

Yep, and I’m having a great time as well (tired of running into CORE and HOPE all the time).

We have epic fights on all the BLs. Sadly, Dragonbrand doesn’t have many numbers at night, so the epic fights there are usually between FA and SBI.

FA has a quick response time, and hops between maps. Makes it fun.

Our map (SBI), is getting whacked, due to people doing their own things, and little to no organization. Sad, when the map is queued and only a 30 man zerg….

But, we are having a blast in silver. I am sure you could have fun on any one of the servers. I don’t know your play time, but I know in our matchup, that the NA primetime sees a lot of action, even through the night. Dragonbrand has a strong asian presence and they are a beast in the morning. FA is kind of light around that time, and SBI has decent numbers, but not DB numbers at that time. But, from 1 or 2 pm eastern time, to 8pm eastern, SBI doesn’t have much coverage, but FA does.

So, if you are to transfer to a silver league server, research the servers, and when the most action is. Also, look into their communities.
