With the current ranking they didn’t drop tier fast enough. Is Anet going to change it or is going to be a 1vs1 in t2 matchup for the rest of the month?

Yes, Mags will be in gold. Mags is probably stronger than the servers below it. I doubt it will be after a month of getting ripped apart by significantly larger populations and far better coverage but none of the T3 servers would likely survive that either.

What Mags needs is a limited number of free transfers to the server. That could revitalize T2 and give them a fighting chance.

Mag can have some fun and play spoiler; but the match with two T1’s will be a brutal spawncamp.

otherwise, they might as well have this last hurrah as the “we play for fights” because they won’t be holding much territory.

At least a server in T2 that only PvD won’t be able to PvD their way to victory against the T1 servers.

Honestly despite my long held hatred of Mag, I really feel sorry for them, TC, BG and JQ will all just roll right over them and use Mag bl as one big PPT pool.

I don’t normally agree or like 2v1’s, but I think it would be beneficial for both Mags and FA to put aside their differences and join forces for the tournament. At least the T1’s would have something to fight and it would prevent Mags and FA from being spawn camped all day. But unfortunately I don’t think this will become a reality.

At the moment, our matches with FA and SoS are a brutal spawncamp. And we can’t really play for fights because we’ll run into the FA/SoS zergs crashing into each other and get lose amongst them.

If by play spoiler you mean decide who gets to win the match, the only way we could do that is letting one team cap the few things we hold and just mount a defense when the other side comes to hit them.

I don’t think many people fully understand exactly how dead Mag is.

2v1s only really work when both weaker servers are at least strong enough to stand on their own. FA’s experience in Silver last season showed this. When the third server is ded, if FA didn’t cap their BL, the green server would, allowing green to bring a lot of focus on our upgraded stuff. If you haven’t noticed, the matches against SoS even now are like that.

Mag is indeed placed in gold. Whether they’re “playing” in gold is up for debate.

I would arguing that playing with myself while I afk and wait for the miracle that will give Mag a chance happens counts as “playing”

Well, if maguuma is going to play gold, and the great performance improvement of this patch droping my framerates to the ground, plus the incredible actual balance in this patch full of broken kittens….. I have luck because this week a new mmo is release.
