Alright so I decided I wanted to lvl an alt so me and 2 friends were running around in enemy borderlands taking camps. at first we all had the outmanned buff. we took a camp or 2 fought some enemies and eventually died and i noticed i had lost my outmanned buff while the other 2 still had theirs. at the time i didnt think to take a screenshot to post on here. I am just wondering how exactly the outmanned buff works.

If you have the outmanned buff that means your server does not have the people that the two other servers do. Until your server gets enough people you hold onto the buff.

alright that doesnt really help…i am trying to understand how i could lose my outmanned buff when 2 party members in the same map still have theirs

Could just be a bug or something. Sorry for misreading.

You lose outmanned if you die. You have to leave the borderland then come back to get it again. Pretty dumb that it still isn’t fixed, but Anet doesn’t seem to move particularly fast.
