Tried it a few times but don’t rly see any damage from it and doesn’t seem to go over 3k range just short infront of it, anyone else has this wvwvw perk and tried ity yet?

Nm, seems i managed to get it work, it’s just that because of the low shoot angle in certain positions it won’t shoot that far.

Is it a nice skill or should i wait before getting it?

I’d wait, it was the first thing I got, as far as I can tell, it only shoots at whatever level the Ballista is at, they won’t shot up or down like any of the other shots. The shots don’t arc or anything, they fly completely straight which is pretty much useless in 90% of scenarios except defending a lord’s room.

I think it works as intended, yes I was disappointed at first then I realised a scattershot that we could aim like a normal would be ridiculously powerful :P Still a great skill for people charging at you, it’s gonna hurt them.

No vertical ability on the spreadshot makes this lackluster at best. Skip this for now.

Its for open field anti-personnel or tight defenses, it does what it does. I think they tried to limit its capability to not make it dominant over the other abilities.

Dude, you can’t even place it in a hill and shoot straight, you shoot horizontally (therefore a 100% useless skill because it shoots directly to the ground at 0 meters) and that means you can’t place it in terrain with obstacles. Only in human-made paths and in the floor, not in walls, since the shots are horizontal.
Or am i incorrect?

its an extra ability with limited use, i can already think of several good ways to use this.
