My question is how long does the 50% speed boost last?

I want supply mastery purely for the speed buff.

Once I get passed Defense Against Guards (250 vit) and Guard Killer (100 power, +100 cond dmg)… oh and at least one level of Ballista (the siege killer) and a couple in AC mastery (the player killer)… maybe.

Might as well put 1 pt in it to get rid of the animation time.. That’s all the update brought to WvW, really.

its dirt cheap compared to increased supply and you get back 2 supply quite often. also 3 seconds invulnerable – imba for commanders who need to flash build.

I took the first rank. I don’t see my self taking any other rank unless there is nothing left to take.

I might try it if there was a way to try it and then refund the points if it sucks ridiculously

I was getting 4 supply back when I finished building sites. I’m wondering whether the returns are tied to your Build/Repair skills.

No, the speed boost lasts about five seconds …. And I have it at 4/5 atm … Still find it useful.

Not really? You have more supply to tick which is hardly ever a bad thing when supply actually matters.

Much like the actual mastery that increases supply, this will probably be one of the last things I pick up.

For me, IMO, I think it may only be valuable in small roaming groups, and even then it’s iffy. This pretty much wipes out anything T3 and above as if you run around in small groups, your going to get run over within minutes anyway by a bigger group.

Beneficial for low tiers, probably useless for upper tiers, given the vastness of the groups and potential supply available.

1. is kinda worthless but I might go for 1-4 once my guard killer is finished. So 2014 is looking good.

This skill tree is NECESSARY if you’re a commander. Also, for slower classes the 30s speed boost is a godsend when out of supply.

If you roam, get this.
If you’re a commander, you need to max this tree out.

Devon, give us real commander tag functionality.

I invested some points down this line. Seems pretty fun. It’ll be great for lower tiers where I was 1 of 2 people repairing gates. Any commander that throws down siege will want the #5 so you can get the siege built under fire. It’s a pretty cheap skill line to boot.

I just hope people don’t start looting keeps for speed boost.

By the way, does ‘picking up supply’ also count for the 5 sups you get on killing dolyaks?

I hope players won’t throw down seige endlessly for ongoing buildsite invuln during battles.

I trust the invuln only applies to the seige alone and not to a small area around it?

It’s not useful enough overall to make me want to take it over other masteries… but that’s not saying that it can’t have its uses.

Devon while we appreciate your thoughts on this and the posting, can you please look at and comment on at least one of the threads about the bugs since the patch and especially the reduced loot…would be greatly appreciated by many

Have used it to good effect, it’s a very powerful trait.

I had 1 supply, put it into the door (you can put 1 supply into doors/walls now, best stealth buff!)
Got 2 back
Put 2 supply into door
Got 4 back
Put 4 supply into door
Got 6 back
Put 6 supply into door
Got 0 back

1 supply turned into 13 supply.

Its random but oh man is rank 4 mandatory. Supply is valuable and anytime you can stretch the amount of supply you can use the better.
