I was running around and died in less than 5 seconds to one person that caught me off guard. A screen shot is of my combat log (though it doesn’t display second markers) is provided below. This is the first time this has happened. One of the things I love about GW2 is that killing a player takes a little bit of effort – fights last longer than 5 seconds. If I am wrong, cool. I am just curious.

17k health as a mesmer…you went in as a glass canon and you got broke son. I’ve NEVER caught a mesmer in a 100b, for the record. It’s a l2p issue, sorry.

Way to be overly defensive and miss the point, Derpee. He didn’t claim anything about balance, he was asking a question. Nice to see your true colours though, son.

And for the record Drizzzle, yes, this is possible. Its a full glass cannon warrior versus a lack of toughness target. You need to dodge it, use a defensive, anything, and the warrior is then pretty kiteable. Practice a bit in SPvP until you get the hang of it, you’ll learn the animation eventually.

I actually usually do very well. Again, first time for everything. Meh.

Don’t worry. You should be thankful this is your first hundred blades warrior! They’re pretty common. When you learn them though, they’re counterable unless they catch you completely off guard without a defensive spell up. And any class can kill you in this situation, frankly.

Like I said, practice against them (they’re EVERYWHERE in 8v8) and you’ll learn

I remember my first encounter… Bull rush, whirling blades..Dead thief… I was like “wow really?”

It was in SPvP so i messaged him and asked him about it, he was very helpful, great thing about SPvP is you can talk to people and ask how they set them selves up. Now if i remember right Whirling blades sticks the warrior to the spot right?

Dodge bull rush and kite – was his advice.

I try to avoid warriors now lol, they ALL carry two handers just for that burst
