Each piece can only be bought once the equivalent Triumphant Hero’s armor (tier 2) piece has been purchased, and have a minimum WvW rank requirement of 1500-2000.

DO I REALLY… need to be that high lvl to buy legendary armor in wvw? there is no way to avoid being such high lvl??? im only 700 and im working so hard to get tickets, and its gonna be for nothing …. will get all the tickets before all the lvls..

Yes you have to be that rank. Also tickets are incredibly easy to get.. You don’t have to do anything except play the game to get them lol

jesus man. I did like 30 tracks lvling from 400 to 700. I dont have 2000 hours to do this. gg my leggy armor

you can upgrade your T2 to legendary..

T3 is only for the extra effect on the skin…

you can go T2 > legendary
or
T2 > T3 > Legendary

Tier 1 is the exotic armor you get from the reward track. Tier 2 is the first ascended version and has no rank requirements to purchase. It takes 1310 tickets to get the full set and can be turned into legendary armor.

You DONT need the T3 armor (with rank requirements) to turn it into legendary.

Also take into consideration that it cost alot of tickets to get and upgrade the ascended armor to legendary. Its something like 1300~1600 tickets per piece of t2 armor and 1600~2300 tickets per piece of t3 armor. If you believe that you can get the final piece of t3 armor the chest before you have enough tickets it maybe worth waiting it out.

Just another grind, because, well, we are in grind wars 2…

If you want it faster then go to raids. I could be speaking out of ignorance but I’d wager you can get a set faster through PvE than anything in WvW. Personally if it was my design I’d nuke WvW PvE stats and make it align with sPvP. Throw in a template editor it would save everybody time and money.

But hey – since when does player quality of life matter, right?

Vastly cheaper and less labor intensive than a single legendary weapon that isn’t bought from the TP.

Well you do whatever you want to for end game pvp, wvw, raids or fractals whatever is fun to you. Eventually you will have enough gold for any legendary armor so just get the one in the game mode you enjoy the most. Its not really a grind if you are enjoying playing that gamemode.
