Unlinking the servers would reduce queues after the June 6th update.

Ten servers are Full in NA and EU, five each

The hype will go away and so will many people. Just be patient and give it time.

It would elevate some of the queue times in the short run, but I’d wager things will calm down once the novelty wears off. Hopefully we get some more dedicated wvw players out of it.

Once people realize the time commitment involved, 2-3 hours/day, 7 days/wk per this calculation: https://forum-en.gw2archive.eu/forum/game/wuv/PIPS-and-reset/first#post6609614 they will likely lose interest in sticking around just for the rewards.

hod only had 2 queues after patch, so….not really…….
