This always makes me laugh I never see these influx of guilds. I see the same people out every night.

Yeah I don’t put much stock in that site (I do see 4 transfers showing on but all PvX). It also shows FoE just transferring onto SoS.

What I do know is it’s the same people out there everyday that have been here for weeks. FOO has done great in their time frame, TKG as well. All of our SEA/Oceanics/EU, have done great. We just got off our collective butts and decided it was time. We’ve been pressuring SoS for the past few weeks.

Our que’s are short and our oceanics/sea have done an amazing job and we have picked up a few EU numbers but not any huge guilds that I am aware of. Just players that have joined existing guilds (ARMA has been on JQ for a few months now).

If you’re looking for a T1 server, I definitely think JQ is worth looking into.

As an ex-player there, I can personally say they have a wonderful community with a lot of good people. You get the occasional power hungry guy but the server does a fantastic job of bringing them in line.

Lot of great friends there still.

If you are an orginal guild or player that left JQ due to WvW ques they are long gone. If the menace / walker / EC drama drove you away those days are long gone. The server you left still has a warm community TS and forum.

It’s a server where small guild groups roam across the maps along side commanders leading not only their guild mates but all pug players willing. We have older players that put their kids to bed then hit the front lines, college kids pulling long shifts even when we have the out manned buff and were scrapping at keeping 75 ptt, and WvW focused international guilds from all time zones that not only fight with respect but courage regardless of score or opponent.

Sure there are times when we are just a mess trying our best to defend that last tower on our boarder lands or running around like chickens with our heads cut off, or the entire JQ WvW force is taken arms pounding that one garrison wave after wave as our WvW holdings burn across all four WvW maps. In victory or defeat you know we are still out there trying regardless of point score or if another 40+ zerg just rolled over us.

Come back home…we have left the door open. Next week were bunkering down vs SoS/BG. It’s going to test the very foundation of our server and the greatest
challenge the free folk of JQ have faced in quite some time. Once a JQer always a JQer

Just transferred over, I’m finding it a very enjoyable server.

Just doing jumping puzzle in EB was a lot more exciting than just jump around and hope you don’t get caught by 50+ crystal desert people.

As a member of a small (35man) guild on JQ, I’d be willing to talk to folks about what our server can offer a small guild. Other than pie, naked dance parties, tier 1 combat, and making SoS sometimes lose their minds

I play mostly during the Asian/Pacific time zone. I have been in JQ since beta.Im now in EMP

We have decent coverage during non-prime time and even though the kitten and the Chinese dont speak english, they can still communicate and we work as a team.

We have a public TS channel as well.

Most of the JQ players are experienced MMO players with a significant number from DAOC. We play well but we dont behave like leet pricks to other JQ players. (Except for my /laugh at most of my opponents i kill)

Playing in JQ will teach you how to play GW2 with skill. Take a look at BG. They are chicken feed for us. SOS, well they have massive numbers.

And yes we dont cheat. Infact cheaters are reported, always.

There is alot of world pride in JQ, and thats what i love most.

Very true Wrath. Nobody wants to feel like they are at work when playing their favorite game. However, if your form of play is farming the lemming bandwagon zerg…well just send me a /tell in game saying “thanks Mance” after you open up with your first arrowcart/ballista on the ye ol’bandwagon zerglings.

Oh, and to the couple folks who have messaged me, Yes I will buy your first AC to farm the “zergwhichshallnotbenamed” BUT… you have to split the profits with me 50/50! =)

JQ is hands down the best server for WvW. We let players and guilds play their way, while maintaining structure and a long record of Tier 1 success. No other server has lasted this long in Tier 1. No other server has had the consistent WvW population that JQ has.

Others may be bigger, but no one is better. With the recent fall of SBI, the only true WvW server is JQ. We value our players and welcome new and returning players! Come and see! There’s still time for a one week look before lockdowns. No risk!
