Just curious as to what kind of WvW experience JQ has to offer. any input helps! =)

JQ is probably the most dominant server during Oceanic time. However, I no longer see the former commanders and guilds that used to play. I get the feeling that JQ isn’t as strong as it once was. I think that Blackgate is the strongest server all around, but they are also the most “PvE” server as well. And so when there are PvE events, BG is weak. But come time for WvW seasons, the players on BG come out of the woodwork.

If you join during the right time, you will get a lot of caps with very little resistance from other servers during Sea on JQ. But overall, as much as people protest when someone says the truth, people are leaving the game and it’s hard to predict which server is better at what at this point, because if a known commander drops the game, the server is weakened.

To me, WvW doesn’t matter much anymore. It’s there so that I can complete my achievements. I came on the WvW forum because it’s in a bookmark…

JQ has a few large guilds on at that time and has for quite some time, been quite dominant in that time zone. BG and TC has sizeable opposition to it, but BG oceanic guilds are PvX and TC can’t quite match the numbers, though both can hold their own without too much difficulty

lots of good fights to be had on JQ. MERC KA SOX are the 3 OCX guilds in JQ. at the moment because of player attrition, BG is definitely strongest in ocx and sea time. JQ OCX still has strong commanders pin up everyday so you will still be able to find someone to follow. the mood in jq ocx is very lighthearted and fun, all guilds get along very well with one another and they do their best against the odds.

I’m waiting for uberkingkong to see this and say “JQ is the only REAL server” or something like that…
