This is the case at every camp that borders a spawn, actually. The reason there’s not a lot of outcry is because the counter is to simply walk away.
There is nothing to see here. Move on. Holding near spawn, particularly when being camped is not misbehavior. Further, if there are spots on the map that offer invulnerability, then those spots have been deliberately zoned as offering invulnerability by ANet.
If you believe this is a bug, report it.
If you choose to engage any enemy when/if they are within a zone of invulnerability, one could argue that it is you that is misbehaving (or at the very least, roflstomping).
Look in the mirror.
It is one thing to brag. It is another thing entirely to spin your behavior and experience into a gross generalization (and mischaracterization) of an entire server population.
Instead of engaging in mud slinging or implicative character assassination, please politely allow this thread to wane into obscurity.
Last I checked one guild isn’t all of JQ. Just for the record.

I absolutely cannot knock this behavior. The JQ are under the outmanned buff, and are being chased by a huge zerg most likely. This is a very viable strategy, to attack and run back to the area and hold out hoping to wipe out a few that stand there and fight… I’ve done it, lots of people have. One night it was me and 2 other SBI’s on the entire map. We held 40 JQ at that spot for over 30 minutes and I racked up like 10 kills. Sure it’s a gray area, but It’s not a blatant game changing exploit. As the other guy said. You have 2 options there. Fight and die, or walk away. They can camp that area for 66 days and It wont affect the game in any way or help one side win.

why are people still complaining this? them sitting there provides no tactical advantage, just walk away…
I think the issue here is because it’s that particular spot. All along the ledge area up there players get the determined buff but nowhere off the ledge do they recieve it except for that one tiny little mound where they are in the picture. And seeing as players cannot climb back up the ledge once they jump down into the camp, it’s likely the spot they’re using is a possible oversight on arenanet’s part, or an unintended area for players to stand or the buff to effect.
That being said the simple response is to back up. They can do nothing to the camp from there, and were they up on the cliff they would still have the determined buff and be perfectly able to snipe you at their leisure given your proximity. Yes, it seems a little biased for the two southern side camps to be so close to determined areas, but this is intentional. Even the home server has its own northern camp just outside of its determined area.
The system is there to encourage enemy to walk away.
i remember spawn camping henge of denravi, stormbluff isle, eredon terrace, blackgate, and all the servers Jade Quarry has faced.

I see nothing wrong with that. I would do the same thing they did. Hide at invulnerable zone and try to kill 1-2 of attackers.
Best solution ..Just go and let them be.

I don’t see a problem here. If you have them camped at the wall in their spawn they are literally harmless to you if you just walk away. This is the same as if they stood near the legendary defender at their main exit. Suck it up, stop moaning about beating them so badly that they are huddled at their spawn and literally useless to taking any point on the map.

Is it me or are some SBI obsessed with JQ? I don’t get it since the top spot is being held by Sea of Sorrows. OP, you’ll never be #1, if all you think about is #2’s.

SBI has HoD syndrome.
Lol. Thats me in the picture. Initially we were just trying to flip some camps, but SB kept chasing us in the invul spot. So we were like “are they serious? they can’t read the invul, invul, invul?”. So we just stood there for quite some time just farming badges. I don’t know why people think 10 enemies with multiple mesmers, eles and guardians won’t stun lock them and burst them down, but they just kept on coming.. trying to kill us in our invul spot.
Also, I would like to add that thanks to these nice people donating their badges, one of our guild members was able to make a twilight.
