Wok from [HzH] here. We as a server are working together to minimize our server activity before WvW reset. We have several guilds trying to transfer over to our great community. My guild and several others are having blackout times till then to help our new members get here. Many of us will be logged off till reset to assist with this. Any participation from other guilds in our server would be greatly appreciated.

Someone needs to go into Lion’s Arch and other pve areas as well as WvW and convince those people that logging out will be good for the server. As it stands now we are listed as full.

Aco will also be participating in this.

FIRE is going to be logged out during this time as well.

BPA has generally been logged out all day. We welcome the transfers of our former rival overlords.

Been trying to get on that server since last night. Tried a few times at 2Am 4Am and 5Am. It wouldn’t surprise me if Anet blocked all transfers to top tier servers. It’s in their best / most profitable interest to do so.

Anyway, It’s sad that we have to resort to this type of behavior in order to ensure we have fun / enjoy a product we purchased.

As of 3:42 the server is full. It’s going to take more than just the borderlands logging out. Has anyone been in LA trying to coordinate the blackout?

[EMP] is currently blacked out for another 15 min. Get a few more guilds in on this one would be helpful. We are also going to be involved with the one this evening for reset. Welcome to the server.

We are number 1 in ppt right now. Apparently no one is logging out O.O.

I would just like to thank the people on JQ for doing this and trying to help those that want on the server get in. It speaks volumes about you all , this server and your guilds. =)

We’ve been coordinating in our own forums as well, unfortunately the masses don’t go there often.

If anyone is in game please ask that they other people in LA, and major PVE areas log out for a couple of hours.

It is to the benefit of the whole server in doing so. It would mean better XP, better loot, etc from a better score.

But please be nice and only ASK that they do this.

Well we ought to have a few people from notable guilds calling out in LA that people should log. One person should be posted in each borderland and in EB as well. We will know it’s working when our ppt drops to 0. Aim for 0 ppt.

Its going to be quite challenging transferring in the weekend. That being said though, good luck to you guys, and hope to see you soon on our side of the battlefield.

It has been full since yesterday. Even at 4am they were full. I wouldn’t be surprised if Anet locked transfers to that server. It’s in their best and most profitable interest to do so.

No. SoS was able to get ND into their server, despite the fact that they are arguably more populated than JQ. They just have better coordination for blackouts.

I just logged out. Interesting you should say that about SOS having coordinated black outs. I was at EBJP, they have about 40 people and a Golem camping the JP?

SoS had a coordinated blackout today at around 10-11 a.m. eastern US time. There ppt dropped to nothing. They can confirm this.

I’ve been to all borderlands and EB—as usual the people in EB are the most hostile—and no one is listening. Good luck with it. I give up.

I know I have, funny enough, SoS has become not full. That’s a scary thought. Well keep trying perseverance for the win right?

You have to get PvE involved as well. JQ is still full. We need to make a plan covering all areas of the server.

We have relayed to our PvE zones for the past 10 hrs.

JQ isn’t listening. It’s our server’s fault. This guy mycellium from WPAK was trolling me the entire time I was trying to get people to log off in the BL. I challenged him to a duel and killed him 3 times in a row, which made me feel better. But that is an example of the problem. A really poor player trying to discourage people from doing what’s best for the server. People aren’t taking the transfers seriously, and we are going to lose out because of it.

Tried for 45 minutes but — time for dinner.

No worries — SF will be fully transferred there by weeks end. I’m planning to try again early in the morning.

Speaking of which, could you guys give a window of time thats most advantageous to attempt getting in?
