So, Ima lay it out simple and let the mods and players gripe if they have to

Jade Quarry is getting tired of some of the blood in T1. Tonight was a turning point where several times throughout the night we found SoS and SBI setting up shop together and simply…. 2v1ing.

You can call me a JQQer all you want, but the fact remains, when you run into a supply camp and find 2 opposing servers waiting for you with arrow carts and ballista’s…..and NOT attacking each other….something is wrong. Something is even worse when situations like this become commonplace on all 4 BG’s throughout the night.

So, this being said, I desperately hope Blackgate makes it to T1 and turns it into a 3 way fight again.

What I’m wondering is…..Do any SoS or other JQ’s feel the same way? Different? Or am I just paranoid because it’s 1 in the morning and I really just need sleep?

protip: bring more level 80’s in your 50 man zergs, maybe then 20 SBI won’t wipe you so easily.

LMFAO sucks when it happens to you doesnt it. BG had to deal with this for weeks from JQ and SBI and you are already crying about it after 2 days. GL in the future.

that 35ppt JQ was putting up earlier after the win last week has hurt some pride. Do you think BG isn’t still upset over the ‘2v1’ and will come looking for some sweet sweet JQ revenge?

If this is true, then I think this is the lowest level SBI has stooped to. I would understand a 2v1 double team for strategic reasons. For example, when 2 servers raid a keep, and they don’t attack each other, hoping that one side would go in to take the pounding from the siege and then swoop in to claim it later. Or when 2 servers focus on the top server hoping to catch up on the points.

But 2 servers setting up siege in a camp side by side, not attack each other, and waiting for the 3rd server to come in? For the spirit of wvw, I just don’t agree with that type of play. If this is true with what the original poster is saying, then I don’t think SBI deserves to be in tier2 since they are clearly not out there for wvw.

I dont think we have deals with anyone, at least this didnt pass at all from our forum, so if it happened it was restricted to 2 guilds. Our guild policy is clear, red names must go down.
And its actually funny that you are crying for a situation like that, when right yesterday evening we were attacking a keep owned by SoS and while smashing the door a group of JQ attacked us, and same happened on a tower.

I have bounced around most of the night, and unless something was done behind my back, I call urban legend on this. The old adage “pics or it never happened” applies, since its just ONE guy crying foul. If this was a real event. there would be pics and endless threads about it. I hate to say it, but Im saddened that he would stoop to such falsehoods.

If server A is trying to take an undefended keep from server B, and server C sees that they can take out server A’s forces to take the keep, I don’t see any issue with that. That’s valid tactics. However, I do see an issue with server A setting up siege at a camp at one side and server B setting up siege at the other side and making no attempt to take the camp. The purpose is just to wait and kill any server C’s forces approaching the camp. That is not wvw.

I hope you clearly see the difference.

that is actually very good wvw. its called MIND GAMES. I sometimes help sos OR jq. whoever i feel needs it at the time to pull attention off my kitten. if I see a ridic amount of sos taking everything, and roll into a jq camp. Id more than likely help the jq guys there. it’s war, not tea time. BUT the scenario he posted was clearly false.

Well, that cuge.5398 poster said that there are 2 guilds in SBI that may have done that. And if anything, it may have been a guild thing and not a server thing.

And then, he gave a scenario he encountered to compare with what the original poster outlined. And I just gave an explanation why I don’t think they are similar at all. If JQ had attacked SBI to defend the SOS’s keep, then that’s another story. However, if JQ attacked SBI to TAKE OVER SOS’s keep, then that’s valid strategy. If you feel your force can overtake another force to claim a keep you don’t own, then you do it.

2 guilds. 1 from sbi and 1 from sos is what he meant. and that is hypothetical. he also agrees it’s not true/and or is exaggerated

he was stating there is no formal official post on it on sbi forums stating anything like this.

i take wondo’s stance that the guy was not being truthful in a weird sort of reasoning why jq is putting up 65ppt all day.

The accusation makes no logical sense at all. 2 different servers defending the same camp

Only 1 side gets points
Only 1 side gets supplies
Resources wasted

There are many SMART ways to 2v1, this one doesnt even make sense.

If people really are 2v1ing like this….thanks a lot, you just helped JQ win.

Henge has alliance with Stormbluff against JQ right now. It really DOES kill wvw. I personally dont see why Godmoding is so enjoyable?
