Jade Quarry gets an ally?
Population limits of paired worlds are 50% of the T1 Worlds. So “full” for us on JQ is far less than “full” for say, BG. Also, FA is equally at the same “full” status while paired. YB is not paired so their “high” status cannot be directly compared. Though I can tell you before being paired, JQ was at the same “high” status as YB is today.
btw… Anvil Rock was the last place World before pairings began. AR’s current population is at Medium, not “very high” as you misstated.

Kind of ridiculous considering the server is at “Full” status and it gets Anvil Rock as a partner at “Very High” status. Bravo Anet, bravo. These matchings are getting worse and worse. You matched Crystal Desert, a full server, with 3 other servers as well? Give the employee who came up with that idea a raise, he clearly knows how the games populations work.

lol I’m surprised someone is actually complaining about this especially when the ally is Anvil Rock. I’m from Anvil Rock and I rarely play WvW on my own server anymore. Before the server links happened AR imploded from T5 to dead last 24th for a good while before these links happened. If anything, 95% of the players you see in the JQ+AR alliance will be JQ and a tiny fraction of players from AR. We dropped to a low 853 glicko rating for a reason when servers were not linked yet.
If anything, Anvil Rock medium population is a clear overstatement. Anvil Rock should technically be on low status because the server lost just that many guilds and population in the fall back to 24th.

JQ has a good community for the most part, and are nicer than most you will meet. With the amount of population JQ lost over the NA fallout and restructuring, they should be linked, they did not have enough population to even maintain an NA during NA prime.
As for your former linked server. ..there is a reason no one wants to be linked with them or play against them. LOL

Funny you should say that as I faced similar experience in the last linkup with YB. Either they ignored you or they say nasty things as though we were responsible for their being linked together with AR. On the other hand linking with JQ has been a good experience so far despite my initial misgivings. I find their community friendly and cooperative.
I just want to offer my opinion regarding YB.
I am one of Anvil Rock WvW commanders who tagged up casually during our linking with YB. From my experience, YB was very supportive while I commanded. There were few trolls and some people were bit impatient; but I think all servers have people like that.
