Had some cheaters from Memento Mori guild screwing with SBI earlier from TC server

We were attempting to figure out if they were just jumping into the keep some how, but I got to watch them speed hack away while under the ground..so thats how they were doing it.

Funny, when we took SBI keep in EB, the same guys were in there. I was wondering how they were self reviving with no noticeable thief around(I know how thief works, I play one). I figured it was multiple thieves, guess it wasn’t.

I remember some of our guys in TS earlier saying that they thought they saw a TC guy under the ground. I wasn’t around them at the time, so I wasn’t able to snap a screenie.

You are all wrong on how I was doing it.
1: Wasn’t alone

If you weren’t hacking then you weren’t hacking. The disrespectful tone isn’t needed. I’m simply stating my experience in coordination with 2 other people, one from another server. I even stated that I believed it was two thieves, however with this recent accusation, one has to wonder what was going on at this point.

As far as hacking/exploits go… if there’s no hard evidence it is generally disregarded by the masses and does not impact server respect.

That said, obviously these things need to be policed by ALL of us.

I just came back from AFK, did you guys leave or still here? We can setup a guild v guild somewhere in the corner if you guys are up to it. 10 v 10, 20 v 20, whatever.

We wouldn’t mind setting something up, maybe on Thursday or Friday, closer to reset. Honestly though, we’re still getting our things together as far as zerg vs zerg fights are going so it’d be rough.

I know we have somewhat of a dueling event on red BL for the last 3 hours or so before reset. I think it would be a great Idea to set up something like this as it would better all guilds involved. And it would be a lot of fun.

Yes! We were actually singing this last night in TS~

LOL I bet. You guys have been the Blue team for 10 weeks. 3 months zomg! When the time does come that your team color changes you’re not going to know what to do with yourselves.

I am actually thrilled with the competition this past week. With Blackgate it was like they never came out to fight unless they had megazerg 2000 on their side then they would opt for the fight where there is no resistance. So far this week I’ve seen more action than ever before. I love this matchup and have to say it’s been my funnest to date.

I know people give us crap on SOR because we’ve been in 5th for ages. Blackgate loved rubbing it in our face. However one little tidbit everyone ignores that I am quite proud of is that SoR has never gone DOWN a rank. Since launch we have only gone up. Each week we get a little better. Now someday I am certain we’ll go down a rank but to go 5 months without a single – rank is quite an accomplishment. One not many can say they’ve achieved. I’m proud of our server and am very happy to call it home. We don’t need to be #1. We need to be happy. Happiness comes from surviving the fights you shouldn’t, defeating the enemy far stronger than yourself, and achieving that which was deemed impossible. Our success is not measured by what place we are in but on how far we’ve come as a community. I look forward to our continued growth and adventures.

I agree with the sentiment, except that we did go down a couple ranks during the “dark days”. Any from SoR who started wvw from day one will remember the days when FA completely dominated us and left us without a single tower or even a supply camp. Having said that, we never gave up and kept fighting even when we couldn’t leave our spawn point. Many old school [Choo] members, when our guild was [FL], remember the “dark days”. I believe our lowest rank was 14th or 17th place; after that it has been a hard fought climb all the way up to 5th place. I couldn’t be more proud of SoR and of [Choo].

This Pain Train HAS NO BRAKES! We just keep chuggin’ along, destroying anything and everything in our path! >:)

It’s been a great week and I hope both servers have had their fun as well, we were very excited to go up against SBI, and TC for another week.

On Another note, last night [Choo] and [CDS] we’re attacking Sunnyhill. Some of us glitched in the tower while the gate was still up and I was very proud to see everyone who glitched in jumped back out of the tower without taking advantage of the bug; and they did it without being asked or told to do so. Just another reason why I love SoR and the wonderful people I get to fight alongside every day

Any oceanics out there looking for a new home, get in touch with us over on SoR. If you have a never give up attitude with a solid desire to work together with others and help build something special and unique, SoR is a server you should consider.

They just raised the server population caps before they close free transfers next month, there’s no better time than now.

If you mean the thief in Jerrifer’s I was in there twice today. Once I had a fight with two members of [Choo] (good fight, by the way) that lasted a few minutes. The build I uses focuses on stealth so I can maintain it almost perma status. I use Ambush and traps to maintain it when I choose to hide. Which is why when I was in Jerrifers the second time with roughly 16 Stormbluff you guys couldn’t find me. No hacks, just a traited build that I use to its fullest.

My experience was in SBI keep after SoR rolled it. Once again, I’m not saying it was hacks, I’m just a little intrigued about this three time coincidence.

I was in that tower during that attack, and the SBI that were in there with me were also very impressed and thankful that SoR reacted the way they did. Some of the SoR players looked as confused as we were when they popped in. There was of course some damage done by players glitching in, but overall the SoR players who found themselves inside our tower reacted appropriately and I thank them for that.

Haha, that would have been myself(Necromancer) and the Guardian, right? We were trying to chase you down in Jerrifer’s for sooo long it seemed like. We weren’t about to let you revive your mesmer buddy laying there on the plateau, although you were able to once. That was pretty fun, even if you were aggravating the kitten out of us :P

TCBL this evening… I laughed, I cried… I cried some more.. I cheered… I cried yet again…

…but oh so much fun, can’t wait to do it again.

Oh, wow. Small world. That was me, it was a hard fight because I was worried about getting feared off the ledge. Yeah, it was a fun fight though. Tell your friend I had fun making you guys run laps. :P We’ll have to play again some time.

Great fights in EB,

Lots of swiss cheesing in SM, but all in all, we eventually started to really capture everything – not that we’re gonna be able to hold it very long. So many attacks by all sides on the map that made us run everywhere.

I don’t accuse people of hacking lightly, but the person who I saw doing it was stupid enough to pop Thieves guild then exit the keep at incredibly high speeds, Since no house stealth was done ever while in the keep, and the distance he traveled was far more then you can travel while stealth (no to mention the speeds) I can assume he was bloody underground. since they weren’t above ground or the sky.

Now that might not be you, but the person in that keep yesterday was most certainly cheating.

Yeah I’m an asuran and the other was a human. Neither of us were hacking. Nothing close to it in fact. I have no idea what you were seeing but the only thing I could think of to explain this was you triggering our Ambush traps causing those thieves to spawn at our location.

What you were dealing with was an orginized group of thieves and mesmers porting people into the keep. We would hide and stack stealth in order to res our mesmers. Nothing more. You just couldn’t catch us.

Next time you see us or others using similar tactics take a video or shoot some screen shots before you pull the hacker card. MM doesn’t hack we just outplay.

That was a crazy fight. For all of us, I really hope they fix ability lag in fights like that. It makes it both hard to defend and attack when you press buttons that do nothing. Heh

Yeah, the ability lag is getting a little ridiculous. Had a great 3 way going in TC Garrison last night, right before SoR took it. Someone put an AC on the side of the roof between 2nd and 3rd floor, so I had the entire fight to just rain arrows on people without being attacked till it was over. Sad thing was, it would take 10-15 seconds just to get an attack off. Which, kind of negates the whole point of the arrow cart. Was great watching SBI try to hold the 3rd floor after I died. Great fun guys, let’s keep at it.

Yeah I was on the ground floor for most of that and the only ability I could get to reliably fire was my auto attack.

I popped into TC BL last night at the end of my play time and ran with your group. I think the commanders name was Desdamona. Masterful job of tactical portaling. When we went to Spirithome and were a bit out numbered she moved around like a master with the portals, until we could whittle the numbers and take the camp.

Props on the garrison take as well, though I believe FEAR was there and TW as well.

Well I was one of the dead mesmers in overlook at that point their were 2 of us… This most certainly was not was not hacking or cheating. Thiefs were inside keep because we dropped both gates sm side overook we wiped and said thief lived. there were 3 of us dead in there 1 additional thief with similar build and 2 mesmers.

I saw with my own eyes for whatever reason i could see said theif invisible right against the wall stuck to wall like glue right by supply. So he did not go through wall. We were slowly rezzed. By the way said thief retreated multiple times because of Aoe or he was spotted by gaurds. Well during that time 15 tc were waiting outside. Finished rez of mesmers drop down portal people in. This happened twice while both SBI and Sor where fighting each other. So no thiefs were not cheating. We had fun playing around and we had no chance of suceding because at the time we did not have the numbers you did to do so. Plus i had a 8 silver repair bill from it. Im just letting you know from first hand experience that without a doubt we were not playing shaddy.

I miss the days of daoc, being a infiltrator grouped up with about 8 of us and climbing walls and taking keep lords down by ourselves. Talk about a reason for people to cry, this was it. [

Hi Tyaen, yes it was our first day in SoR last night. And yes we do have at 9 commanders in our guild. We do rotations on our guild raids, even members can lead raids. So expect to see more commanders popping in and out their tags. Each commander in our guild has a specialty so we have the sense of variety of tactics/strategies keeping the guild in its foot.

ughh, so Sor just got a guild in it with 9 commanders. Why dont you guys transfer over to 2nd or 3rd place servers -_-
