Also, forgot to add this to my message, Anet should do something about this kind of hopping, not only does it ruin the targets server community, but it also totally defeats the purpose of the whole WvW ranking system as it’ll just end up totally screwing two other servers as they will enjoy a week of totally being outnumbered and fighting a server they should not normally meet in their tier.

Tbh i think it’s a great idea. I’m not playing on any of the low Tier Server but i think it is a great Idea for bigger alliance’s to join them and make the Server more popular to people who are maybe annoyed of their own Server, so lower populated Server get’s more attractive to all kind of players again.

The problem is that nearly everyone in the lower tiers are here because of the low population in the first place. We don’t like Zerg v Zerg or PvDoor. The smaller fights are way more enjoyable then the big ones. Besides, if you’re with 50 people in a borderlands what does your personal skill do? If you’re fighting 5v5 you can really make a difference. I prefer to walk with a group of 2-3 people and still be considered a threat.

At the same moment, if people switch to lower tier servers it’s going to disrupt the balance in both this tier and the one where they left from, because their old server will drop down now.
This bullkitten needs to stop, settle in a server and fight for what you’re worth rather then switching to a tier without opposition.

Another alliance switching to RoS at the same time may have caused some good fights between RoS and Vabbi but this is not low tier anymore, this is stupid zerg v zerg with a 3rd server standing at the sidelines. No one that I know on these servers wanted this, maybe a few people switching for better WvW results or maybe even a couple of guilds so we could compete in Tier 8 more, but 2 enormous alliances? This entire situation is kittened up.

Dear Demannu what you tring to do is pointless. ONce u will start winning you will get poeple hopping to your server which arent realy pvp focused players. We did same way in the Piken Square, we spend months building server from scratch to real WvW focused servers being massibely outnambered buy yet so skilld that we were winning despite enemy zerging us . We reched high tier with our hard work ,,, and now we are just bering called zerg server like eveery other ;/
The difference Piken Community wanted that, U just came to vabbii and spoiled their game without asking anyone.

The thing is what you want to do make no sense, u will come to the same point u were at BT at best … As soon as you start winning you will get a lot of easywin mode bandwagoners who will spoil your plans . We went through this on PS.. especialy when beat the crap out of much larger than us Gunnars Hold .. than massive numbers from them transfered to us. We were low on numbers so we barely had any queues, but with that queues appered .. we are anitzerg server and their commanders came and encouraged poeple to zerg …. so lame, It was horrible for us at that moment looked like in 1 day we lost all which we were building for 2 motnhs … we survived that, but the higher we are the more ppl we get, cant reallyt built purely WvW focused server. PS is quite close to that but it will never be fullly like that,

It seems that you have given Vabbi a large degree of power, this has made WvW very hard for us on FoW with Surmia’s zerg on the one side and yours on the other, however I do have a few surprises for Vabbi and Surmia

It is also alot of fun throwing grenades at your zergs as well as a few other things

if you keep fighting FoW you will come to know me as that annoying charr engineer

That was obviously when everyone is sleeping, other then that you are 10k points behind in this weekend. Don’t know what night/morning crew you got, but you lose in prime time.

If that’s a recruitment stunt to get people looking for a easy win joining, it’s not going to work, people that fall for such thing don’t usually stay and fight.

Oh please, the only time you got advanced with 13 guilds vs 1 guild (hope you do realise you are fighting 1 guild) was night between sunday to monday and the only reason for that was that we had no people online, but lets see how the week goes. We are happy that ex-BT guilds now showing online, which they did not when we were on BT, that is great already ! But lets see how does the week continue.

Lol you’re claming it’s just 1 guild when it’s actually 2 Xaoc guild which are both stupidly huge + you got CCCR too which I hadn’t seen before either and they got big numbers too.

Us at Surmia probably have around a kittenloads of guilds, it’s probably 40 vs 1 but that doesn’t mean that 30 of those guilds counted together even have more numbers than 1 of your Xaoc guilds.

You came on Vabbi server claiming yourself as “the saviour” who would repopulate the WvW community, any victory you will achieve will be tasteless.
Even if you would manage to climb the chart (thing that i doubt it will ever occur) your efforts will always be noticed as the easiest way to achieve some scoring.

Funny part is that you most prolly end up to be victim of your own spoil, RoS are turning up like the ones who will tier up while you “players who inhabit Vabbi” will be stuck on last tier afterall :p
Then WsR will tier down and you ll end up 2nd once again, but ofc by then i expect you and your precious army to have left Vabbi for goods.
You may prouve me wrong if you ll still be on Vabbi server for the next 30 days. Easy win…

Your prediction was spot on. This Vabbi project was scrapped, Xaoc hopped to Gunnar’s Hold, the Vabbi WvW presense is nigh nonexistent again. Only the Whiteside Ridge falling down a tier is yet to fulfill.

It’s not easy to fill a server and organize all the guildes.
U just can give it a try and if all joined guildes really want to reach T1 it works.
Mostly the flames destroy a new alliance.

There was no reason to come then to go. I feel bad for the WvW players on Vabbi & FoW, also, for Ruins of S as now the maps are ghost towns; all 3 servers are boring and suffering because of this now.

What I’d like to know actually, is did the RoS xfers only occur because of the vabbi ones? or would they have joined anyway.

@ Crunchwell, the reason they chose vabbi was there was no existing guilds to organise. However I think it was very silly to expect people to join the server, most people’s ego’s do simply not allow them to sit in the bottom tier even if only temporarily. The people who that isn’t an issue for on the other hand, simply don’t wish to dominate every week and be bored while they wait to find their appropriate spot on the ladder.

As I have understood: Xaoc expressed that they wanted to leave for a lower tier, and upon that the alliance also decided to go for a lower tier. They started to send people to the different server but Xaoc went ahead and joined vabbi without waiting for the response of the Alliance, while the Alliance had decided to join RoS, which they did.

Correct me if I’m wrong, but that’s how I’ve understood it. Oh and Xaoc got a new leader btw.

The problem I have with these moves is that you helped 2 bottom tier servers with enough forces to screw up everyone above for maybe the higher 2 or 3 tiers depending how high you move up

If you had just moved to one server then it would only be blackgate swapping with a low tier server but now you will probably force half of the guilds in the lower few tiers to jump servers this weekend.

anyway fun is to fight a eaven tier and not to be first with 200k+
Vabbi and FoW is hard to fill. I think it never would work like with Kaineng.
But it seems to be that all guildes now found his server.
