Jump puzzles need to be a care bear zone. I’m tired of getting jumped by like 8 dudes from the other faction in there.

At least remove the ability to build siege weapons in jumping puzzles.

There are ones in care bear zones. Go do those? Oh, but you want badges which are a PvP based reward mechanic.. guess you might have to risk PvP to get them..

I wouldn’t even go in there if there were any other accessories in the game that gave power > tough/vit

You can buy those accessories for karma (though not exotics).

And you need some pvp badges to get a legendary, so people who aren’t even really interested in pvp have to get badges somehow if they want a legendary.

You used words like “care bear” but are complaining about PvP.

I don’t get it…

If you want to get it over with asap, pay a mesmer to portal you to nearly the end of each puzzle. It still takes a little time, considering the mesmer actually has to do the puzzle, but if they are decent they should be able to help you finish fairly quickly with little to no risk.

Or just get a group of friends/guildies to run the puzzles with you. Stick together and you won’t get jumped.

This cuts both ways. Much worse for WvW people who want a legendary imo but that’s why I have written them off completely.

They should be separate maps altogether, I’m sick of carebears filling a spot when there’s real WvW to be done. Let them face the dreaded queue if they really want to do those lame puzzles

JPs in wvw are rather stupid but its the best resource for badges for me.

I was just attacked by a whole group of enemies that camp the animal cage and there is no way to get past it until they get bored of killing people. Unless a whole bunch of people decided to help you and gain control of it, there is no way you can finish it. Even with stealth fountains, there isnt one after the dark room.

its pretty unbelievable that people have absolutely nothing better to do than wait for people who just wanna get the JP done and get out of WvW, and zerg them.

It’s not quite carebear in there. When I first went into the EB JP I got a raiders of the lost ark feel. It’s pretty epic. Then to have to battle your way to the top vs other players.. yea not carebear at all. I can spend hours in there finding high quality PvP much better than out in WvW.

I’d be fine if it was a separate map though. Just a big open PvP playground with a JP in the middle. I bet it would be pretty popular like an old school DAOC battleground.
