I just noticed, the top 5, yes 5 tiers. all are complete blow out matches (NA). I for one am now happy to be in the lower tiers.

I noticed that as well and thought it was a strange coincidence that so many were that bad. This next matchup looks to be a lot better. I’m not sure what caused this week’s situation.

With infinite transfers, what did you expect? Nothing can be nailed down because people just jump around.

Also, considering the culling issue, I know several people that are taking a break until it gets fixed. Maybe this is happening more frequent than people realize.

Well, you don’t see the same thing on the EU servers that you do on the NA servers this week. Otherwise I would consider people taking a break and/or server transfer. This phenomenon is just on the NA servers this week.

On the NA servers, large guilds are jumping servers like it’s friggin election year here in the US or something.

Hey, wait a second…

Two of the largest Alliances on NA servers broke up recently, and there were many transfers to other servers that took place last week. There are also some transfers from the current #1 server, Jade Quarry, to SoR because those guilds were tired of sitting in queues for hours.

So here is how this week’s matches broke down with the above said …

T1 – Not uncommon to see a blow out in this tier. HoD’s WvW population was decimated, and SBI cannot compete with JQ’s EU coverage for now.

T2 – ET went the way of HoD, and CD is outcovered by IoJ

T3 – BG was the beneficiary of the most Alliance break up transfers, as well as the recipient of an EU Alliance that transferred around the same time the NA Alliances broke up.

T4 – SoS received transfers from 4 or 5 of the top WvW guilds on Dragonbrand, as well as PRX, a former HoD Alliance NA guild.

T5 – SoR received guilds from JQ on Saturday that made a big difference.

Except for the T2 match, the rest of them are going to be very interesting this week.

The free transfers will actually help even out the servers in the long run. Without them they will always be imbalanced with the same servers fighting each other for months on end. A-net is just trying to let the players even out the competition for themselves which is occurring as we speak. We need more huge alliances to break up and go down to the lower tiers. The best thing that could possible hapkitten every server has somewhat of the same population numbers.
