Just curious about the zoom back exploit
Almost every example of this is a wider Field of View from multiple monitors or adjusting the height of the window. It isn’t an exploit because it is the answer Anet has provided for people who play with multiple monitors.

so can you tell me how does A-net know that you have multiple monitors?

/facepalm
FoV is client side. “They” don’t need to “know,” it’s just how the game renders everything.
doubt they will fix it because of aesthetics. which makes no sense to me, because if you want to make an esport out of a game, you need to put everyone on a level playing field… and the ability to change your field of view at will is plainly unfair in a pvp setting.
head here to discuss wvw without fear of infractions

so what your telling me is they don’t know and anybody can freely download a zoom hack without any repercussions, cool.

FoV != zoom hack
Many games include the ability to change the FoV as a setting. As eithinan described, you get the same effect by simply changing the size of your GW2 window or by running in a different resolution. There’s nothing being exploited. As I said, it’s just a part of how games are rendered.

the FoV changer will not allow you to see into the lords room at hills keep, while on an ac, it will not allow you to shoot inside of the lords room from outside the wall without the ability to see through the gate hole.
shooting on top of walls is a FoV changer, shooting inside towers and keeps from the outside is not a FoV changer.
try windows mode …..
I posted about this 6 months ago too…
