I am a WvWer, but i am bit disappointed with the WvW state. I want to join WvW but then i say…for what?

Then i remember that In PvP i obtain free Ascends…

Same issues in pvp and frustrations. Seems lots of salty postings in their realm as well at anet.

I don’t really get the problem. I’ve played Wvw exclusively for years and I’ve never gotten the kind of value in a video game than I have with gw2.

I mean, I understand being frustrated if something isn’t working right, but not getting a recent enough update during the holidays?

Type /age into your chat box and divide the last number into the total amount you’ve spent on the game. Then compare that to your alternatives to see how you’re doing in terms of value. You should be so far ahead that not hearing about Wvw developments for a few months won’t matter.

This thread and the likes of it are such waste of both your time and everyone elses.
I’m gonna say it once. If you need a break form the game, then take one. It’s play for free and you can come back whenever you feel like it.
If you’re not enjoying the game right now, you might need a break. So take a break.

You’re NOT entitled an explanation form Anet. They have been working on ALL game modes the past year WvW included. It might not be what you wanted or expected but at some point you will have to make the best of it.

The only thing that makes this game less ejnoyable is when people keep the trend of making threads like these going.
Vent all you want but, seriously, if you don’t enjoy the game, then take a break. Come back whenever you feel like the game meets your ambitions.

Theres patch every 2 weeks. I think every patch had something WvW related.

There was a vote related to in which order they should do stuff in. Think there was scoring balances with nightcap changes first and last was QoL changes that were minor making game easier to play etc. Not sure what the middle one was

• Green grass made even greener.
• Points are now less pointy for server 2 and 3
• Floaty things have been added, improves something you probably asked for, idk we dont really listen, but it was an easy thing to do and makes it look like we are doing something cool
• We took away your names!
• No more fun toys for you in WvW!!!! Play more PvE!
• OK so finally after 4 years of you asking and begging and demanding and shouting and posting and reporting and tweeting and facebooking and reditting, we finally got our interns to make a recipe which let’s you make 10 Superior siege at a time! No they delayed it, claiming it would be out later this year. Seeing as today is December 31st it SHOULD be out today!!!

I don’t know for sure but I suspect the devs are currently involved in something called Real Life and perhaps even Family Time. I’ve tried these two and sometimes, like this time of year, they can be pretty time consuming.

From what I remember there’s something of a roller coaster ride:

• Hoping the RNG gives better gear and getting more ugly socks instead
• Grinding out endless washing up
• Mapping strange new areas in search of distant relatives
• Celebrations that you don’t quite remember clearly, but are sure included an achievement, for something.

I don’t recall a desperate desire to respond to petulant demands at work though. At least not without involving lots of kittens, and that probably wouldn’t help much.

Comunication, just that.

Te people gives feedback to Anet, great posts, with a lot of information and ideas.

But Anet ignore them…or we feel ignore… i dont know… maeby it is just me…

Nah its not just you vier. They just neglect wvw mode as much as they can. No communication at all, heck even when they would tell us no on certain things it would be highly appreciated but instead they go for the silence treatment.

And perhaps some people might come here to tell us anet doesn’t want to communicate with us as were “salty” “cranky” but that is just the result of not getting any communication AT ALL.
