Now I am a Guardian and I know every way possible to boost my speed but when another Guardian using a greatsword and not a staff accelerates and pulls away from me something is dreadfully rotten at the bottom of the apple barrel. Swapping to my staff still did not allow me to catch up and he still continued wielding his gs.

That would be funny as Hell. Could you Imagine logging in at reset and finding out you couldn’t catch anyone from the other server?

Isn’t there food you can consume, sigils you can add to weapons that increase speed? And isn’t there a buff you get from guilds that increases speed? (Not certain on the guild buff but thought I’d seen something in there that had a speed component).

There is in fact a speed booster you can buy from the gem store. May have been that.

There’s also a Guardian Shout that grants Swiftness combined with the GS #2 which is basically a momentary Speed Boost. Throw into that if he was using Meditations he could be Teleporting.

There are many ways to go faster.

Its basically just swiftness. I dont even think it stacks with swiftness.

Well it should be locked because the guy provided no proof for his accusations. Just because you cannot explain something some one else does doesn’t mean they were automatically cheating.

Then again, this is the internet…so if anyone beats you they have to be cheating. That’s the only explanation.

It’s possible, doesn’t sound like a bug or anything unfair. Armor also has speed boosts, top that off with consumables and you’re fast. Also, you’re a guardian, they tend to move slower (don’t know if that’s intentional or it just appears that way).

When you say Kain Members speed hack are you refering to the server or a guild?
