I was honestly worried it would be a boring roflstomp. Good to see Kaineg out in full force again Have yet to see too many ET though. Good fights.

I’m interested to see how this week goes, rooting for my fellow Kain. Kain and Ferg are coming out the gates hard in competition, we will see who is the new top dog. ET, welcome to tier 8! I see green growing in your BL. EB is much too blue right now though. Also a shoutout to a two fergs (not everyone, just the two I saw) using a glitch to remain invulnerable during combat: good fight dudes (not really).

This is pretty much just Kain and Ferg….

So yeah, I’m kind of kicking myself for not getting any screenshots of an NPC Commander that every Kain member had to fight last night. If anyone did happen to get any ss of it, could you post it? That was messed up and I want to study it some more.

Once upon a time, ET was apparently among one of the top dogs of WvW. Well, I wasn’t playing then so I had no idea.

But right now, I think this really confirms it, ET’s rock bottom, totally. At least we have a reasonable matchup somewhat, but I think a lot of ET would agree that it was better when we are matched up with HoD. Still, Looking at how DR’s facerolling the rest, I guess the best possible matchup would be ET vs HoD vs SF.

I learned that securing my server BL was priority from the fergs. They always kept their boarderlands locked and upgraded, which only the largest of raidgroups could contend with any swiftness. And this works very well.

There can’t be any bragging on this round.

Just wanted to say: The fights against Fergs have been awesome. All day yesterday on Vent with other Commanders and such we were talking about how the fights were so even we were even having fun when we lost! Loved ninjaing the Keep! Nearly had Bay, but sadly our PUGs were WAY too slow in responding…2-3 minutes was long enough for you guys to reinforce it completely.

All in all though, we seem to be fairly evenly matched! Only problem is I think we might have more coverage in different times? We were within 100 points of each other near contantly most all of yesterday, then I get here this morning and find out we’re a ways ahead. XD

Kaineng, DR and Fergs are def not the TRUE tier8 servers…. they were just stuck down in T8 due to how the scoring worked out during the 24hrs matchups and its all being slowly worked out now with the real T8 servers falling down.

As Noobler says, DR Ferg and Kain arent bottom tier servers. Its just the way the rating system is. We were all so evenly matched (due to differing strengths on each server – be it more quantity, quality or a mix of both) that no one could get the numbers to push far enough ahead to breakout of the tier.
I feel sorry for ET there in for a rough ride for a long time.
Based on our weekend start ferg and Kain would have little to worry about in tier7. That of course may change over the course of the week – but DR tend to get stronger as the week progresses.

Hey all, glad to see the fights in T8 are going awesome. Some funny info for you. Seems 5 folks with fake PRO tags are in an mid tier using hacks to jump into champs rooms and capping nodes. Based on what one person told me I’m pretty sure I know at least 2 of them that use to be on Kaineng then recently moved. All 5 have been FRAP’d and reported though. lol.

Anyways wanna hear some great news? PRO IS COMING BACK TO T8!! We’re moving monday to ET. Cant wait for the Kain/Ferg fights again!

You surely speak on behalf of us all! Those guys did cause too much drama. I’m loving the clean forums we’re having without them now (so far) Fergs/ET/Kain so far have been doing great and no drama. Hopefully we can keep it that way. And ET dont feel down we were all in the position you guys are in Take it as a good way to learn. I know kain did! You guys are still doing well on your BL seeing as we both hit you guys immediately. I am loving the even comp between Kain and Ferg (except we do seem to play on different times). and DR hopefully you will continue to rise to a tier with servers who can also match your numbers. WvW is boring if you easily win.

You will only improve by competing against great competition… i can say Ferg and Kain you are missed by many in DR… you both deserve to be ranked much higher…

Yeah…sorry about that. Kaineng has been doing brilliantly this week and the numbers are definitely on our side as well. There’s a couple of reasons for this:

1. DR has moved up which has motivated a LOT of players who were tired of their zergfest every week to come back to WvW (just how bad it was is shown by DR demolishing tier 7 this week. Ferg and Kain did a LOT better job of holding off DR than the tier 7 servers are doing now and not for just one week but for weeks on end)
2. Kaineng received a lovely Wintersday present in the form of SE joining us from Darkhaven. SE welcome!
As far as I know they’re the only new guild that joined but they do cover a timezone we’re traditionally weak in.
3. The above two reasons have in turn motivated SoS to start putting more effort into WvW again. Being Taiwanese they always play at US nighttime and even on days where they only do karma trains, their presence and points are still a major boon.

You could say that Kaineng has been hibernating for the past 3 weeks or so and a fortunate (for us) combination of circumstances has caused us to wake up…in a big way. It’s still only the weekend though, we’ll see what happens during the week

LOL I forget what set Chaster off, but having SoS and SE around definitely helped with the numbers game late last night. Speaking of which, whoever was on the southern cannons during the final push into FCBL garrison, you guys were giving a few of us heck down there. Trying to time revives between cannon barrages was entertaining. ;-)

Fun night last night, a great bunch of skirmishes. FC is always good competition, and the ET guys did great when the numbers were even and we didn’t outnumber ’em 3:1.

I just wish we could have the same even day time numbers all day long
I already know your entire BL is totally upgraded as well as SM and the north side of EB. Oh when can we get a lovely Chinese birthday present in the form of a massive nighttime guild…

Last night was great fun for me. I felt that there were lots of battles in EB that were relatively balanced. I spent most of my play time working on preventing Fergusons from capturing Durios (around 8:00pm to 11:00pm eastern time). We would get pushed to Durios, repel them (usually no siege was laid), then take Umber and move to Bravost. We would skirmish there for a while until Fergusons managed to push us back (sometimes via wiping us) and they would take umber back. It was awesome that both our groups were balanced enough that we were able to take each other out given the right circumstances.

I was the thief who kept tossing scorpion wires all over the place.

Hope we can all continue having an enjoyable time in wvw!

You have my sympathies. XD Ourselves and FC had been on the receiving end of MASSIVE numerical superiority from DR for a long time. Unfortunately, I feel a little bad now because we’re getting more and more numbers and are at this point I believe outnumbering both FC and ET. Plus Chaster and the “HOARD OF UNDEAD ASIAN MINIONS!!!” have become a more active so far this last week.

FC: I enjoyed the equal number skirmishes, when we were within 100 points of each other and fighting for superiority on Friday. I am sorry it won’t really be able to stay that way as our numbers in WvW seem to be growing. Just know that I understand numbers are the reason we are where we are right now and respect you guys a lot. (It doesn’t help that apparently you’re losing people too.)

Yeah, we’re kinda DR’ing a bit at times, although it’s not too difficult to find equal number skirmishes that are really fun. FC and ET are putting up some really good fights when our zergs don’t outnumber ‘em huge, and the map doesn’t stay a single color for long.

I really hope Kain starts moving up myself I would like to see someone that actually fights back instead of curling up in a ball and waiting for their break out commander to get them a few points……

Don’t let the score fool you though – was a really good weekend for all concerned. We seem to have a numbers advantage (at least on the WvW maps), particularly during off-peak hours, and that adds up to a big lead. Of course, DR knows that as well. :-)

Be careful Kain, if you start winning youll be the next ‘zerg’ server. Funny how the world turns.

Glad to see you back in the fight though. Miss the rivalry against you guys.

As do I with Dev Karg. Hope you find a tier where you can have matches that are balanced at enjoyable for all involved.
