Today was the last straw for me, I’m the leader of an extremely skilled WvW guild that is able to flip keeps with 7-12 of us before the enemy knows what happened. Sadly warriors are becoming so common that every time we assault a main target, they keep bannering the lord while running from their waypoint after death, as a result it’s impossible to cap it before their zerg arrives to us.

Why is this crap still ingame? It’s beyond ridiculous that two warriors (I say warrior as that is the dominating class in this game) can prevent an organised guild from capping a main WvW target.

My guild is already discussing other mmo’s as we grow tired of nonsense like this, I have a lot of patience but even I reached my limit today.

Personally, i think this Banner is a joke. It should NOT affect NPCs at all.

That banner has a four minute cooldown and it is an elite. The only problem I see with the banner is that it resets the ring countdown which it shouldn’t do. Bringing the lord back up is fair game IMO.

It’s a major pain in T1. The lord should have a ICD on the banner. 4-5 mins maybe?

The cool down means nothing when you have LOADS of warriors equipping it and ready just to spam it over and over and over again.

Right now a warrior can run in at the last second, banner and it starts all over again. If the circle didn’t reset, the banner would be effective at slowing a cap but not stopping it. If the circle didn’t reset, bannering the lord would still allow for at least one tick to occur so infinite banners could not take place even under the best scenarios.

agreed. its a stupid mechanic combined with a class that can be invul to dmg. and npc’s should not be affected by warbanner!

yeah an icd needs to be there for sure, also a lord should maybe like a player that rallies, have less hp eachtime he is revived. so if 5 war warbannered him, he has 10 % of life.

Banner is fine. You are doing it wrong.
