Guild Wars 2

So I’m heading to NC in DBL and get there as it flips. I see only one guy there and see the camp get claimed with the ANet flag. An ele runs east from the camp and he’s not repping any guild, nor has an ANet tag above his character. Confusing to me. How did he claim the camp with the ANet banner? Possibly an ANet guy was there and just logged off after the cap. Would be kind of odd but possible I guess.

At any rate, just in case it was an employee I was hoping for the title for the kill. I don’t usually have a lot of success with my ranger against ele’s but this time I won the battle, on the ground both of us, but he fried first. But no special title so assuming he wasn’t an employee… but still wondering how the camp got claimed with that tag from someone who wasn’t tagged as an ANet employee and repping no guild when he left the camp. (I didn’t see if he was repping anyone while up on the platform.)

Just a curiosity

I’m sure you already know.. you can claim from anywhere on the map, and if someone caps a camp and have no guild tag, there’s no queue to claim. So probably just a coincidence you seeing the claim while the unguilded ele left.

The Anet guy could have also attacked the camp during RI killed a couple guards and then left. As long as they are still on the map they will get credit and have an opportunity to claim.

My girlfriend somehow got the achievement last year. I wasn’t that excited when she told me there was an Anet guy on the other team. As I couldn’t really imagine her being able to follow my instructions over ts without getting wiped first & claiming that almost “mythical achievement” (I was somewhere else at the time & only on ts).

I’m gonna have to tell her off (again!!!) ;-)
